It's always upsetting to see the amount of plastic used in appliances so this is refreshing. The wood top is a pretty differentiator , but unfortunately it's actually plastic too, and not a clever design detail safety wise. My mother in law thought she was supposed to use it as a "lid" when turning it on (her eyesight isn't strong to notice to warning sticker), and it melted the plastic. In newer designs, I hope they can incorporate the wood detail in a more functional and safe way. But I'm all here for the eco design and am grateful for that. The Toaster is still working perfect without the top decoration, and looks good too. So I'd advise popping the pretty lid into the recycling as a safety precaution

Amazing! This item is not only a great toaster, it’s lightweight, which is great for me as I have both visible and invisible disabilities so it’s easy to move around, despite being lightweight, it feels robust and honestly looks so clean line and sophisticated. I wanted a toaster that a) would stop things falling into the toaster, when emptying the tray on previous toasters I’ve found dead spiders 😳 - the lid on this toaster eliminates that worry. The fact it also has a pastry holder to warm croissants etc is a game changer. I love the fact it works exactly as it should, the value for money is amazing and it’s eco friendly! And it just looks so nice in the kitchen! Will update with a pic as soon as I can!

Lightest toaster I’ve ever known. It's aesthetically pleasing. The settings are easy to establish but I do have to say that if you use Warburtons bread the slices are slightly too big to toast all at once, you have to flip it. Would I recommend though, most certainly.

I’ve always been using a £10 toaster from Asda for years and finally treated myself to a new Kettle and Toaster as I wanted to be more eco. Firstly it feels great quality and looks great, however as the other reviews suggested it is in fact small - meaning large loafs won’t fit. I use Hovis 50/50, and it fits in those slices absolutely fine sideways, upwards leaves an inch un toasted but it toasts quickly so I just flip it over no problem. The lid design is brilliant, especially when eventually go a bit funny like they always so, and it makes it look a lot sleeker. The pop up warmer is great addition, and the settings on the toaster are very easy to understand, as my issue with my previous one was hit and miss since I didn’t know what I was dialling to. It isn’t bright white either, more of an egg shell colour, but it looks much nicer anyway

Economical, good little toaster

I have had so many compliments of this toaster. The colour, the look, the style. The toaster sits against the tiles in the kitchen making it space saving (the back of the toaster is flat). The cover for the toasting area is clever so when not in use it looks very tidy. I have also purchased the matching kettle. The only negative is the plugs for each appliance are not matching but just a minor point.
