I've taken this for over a year off and on and it's been helpful. 125mg hasn't ever been too much and the spearmint flavor has been the 'best' so far (I don't get this for taste/to use on a date. The taste is fine.) I enjoy it and will keep using it. It does the job well.

I pop two in my mouth and I am really to sell my soul to my company. In all seriousness, just keep in mind that you have to chew on the gum for 5-10 minutes to get as much caffeine of it; caffeine gum doesn't work the same as the beverages. Also, know that chewing the gum longer than 2 minutes can start to taste bitter, which is a general issue with these types of gum. If you can get over that, you can save a lot of money by chewing these over drinking caffeinated beverages.

I'm another person coming from previously using Military Energy Gum that seems to be no longer available on Amazon or directly from their site. I've been using MEG for over a decade or more. I don't know why but the last couple times i've tried to purchase they seemed out of stock or completely unavailable and this time there's no notice on the site about what is going on, so it's good to have a backup plan.MAAX caffeine gum is not the same, but it is a reasonable alternative at a similar price point. The ingredients and order of ingredients is nearly identical to MEG. The flavor is not quite the same but very close. I've only had a couple of pieces; I can't imagine the consistency is going to change in the 125 piece bag I purchased, and honestly I have to say this might be a good permanent replacement for MEG, especially if MAAX doesn't flake out and go out of stock like MEG has done multiple times for months at a time.PROS:+ Gum is about the same size.+ Gum is slightly softer than M.E.G. (and the hard candy shell isn't as crunchy when first chewed).+ Gum is also less grainy than M.E.G and doesn't feel like it sticks to the teeth as much after chewing for a while.CONS:- Flavor isn't as spearminty as the spearmint M.E.G. right at first, but also seems like the flavor may last a bit longer. It's hard to tell. I figured I'd list it but it could also just be confirmation bias since i'm looking at a different package and trying to look for differences.

Great Taste works just fine. Other brands may get bitter, so far this is the best one.

I've been buying this product for a couple years now and have never had a problem until recently. They have definitely changed the formula and this new formula doesn't give me as much energy as the old formula plus it gives me a crazy crash afterwards. It also only lasts like an hour or two as opposed to the old version that gave me energy for almost the whole work day. I even tested it out, because I still had leftovers from the last time I ordered and I can clearly feel a difference in energy levels. It also has a strong cinnamon taste which is odd because I ordered spearmint flavor. Overall I don't think I will be purchasing this product anymore, because I don't feel the same boost in energy I used to with the old formula

I've been a daily user of caffeine gum for over 15 years and this is the best brand to date. The consistency of the gum is much better than other brands (the military one) which string out and leave tiny chunks between your teeth. Taste wise it's very close to regular spearmint gum. Bitterness is very minimal and well hidden in the flavors. Remember, caffeine is naturally bitter so you should expect a little bitterness from any brand at this dosage

Switched to this after being unable to purchase MEG gum. First bag was perfect. Just opened my second bag and, even though the gum is green, it tastes strongly like cinnamon, which I dislike.

This might be a feature and not a bug though. The mint flavor sticks around about as long as my father did after conception, and then this awful metallic flavor emerges that almost overpowers my caffeine addiction. With this horrid taste and a caffinated boost combined, I am now able to make my hour drive back home after a 12 hour midnight shift and not plow my Jeep through the side of a semi tractor trailer carrying my Amazon order of lightsaber chopsticks
