Just received this item. The hooks were all already rusty and the package was opened!

Thick enough but fishing the curtain through the end was not great, they made the bulb tip a little too big so, had to reverse the hook in to the curtain.

I just received these today. They are really nice and of excellent quality. They are shiny and pretty. Definitely keepers. I counted to be sure and there are twelve in the package. I don't have the hand strength and ability to stand and reach up to insert all of them so will wait for help in doing so. But I did try one and it slides and fits over my shower rod which I was worried if my shower rod would be too big around.

The product image shows a color that looks very close to this brand's "satin" finish. The hooks I received are much darker and grayer, sort of a light gunmetal color. They will not coordinate with my other bathroom accessories and I am sad to have waited so long for their delivery only to have to return them.

These were just the hooks I was looking for! My bathroom is small and a little old, so I've been thinking of ways to add to it that make it look newer and fresh. My shower curtain is green with ferns and a few butterflies and so the whimsical shape of these hooks really add to the playfulness, while keeping it classy. I'm also pleased that these are brushed metal, not shiny or chrome; it offers a softer look which is great for our neutral colored bathroom; anything too shiny would look out of place.HOWEVER. What you should know about these hooks is that they are NOT metal. These are merely brushed metal PAINTED resin hooks. Mine arrived with some minor abrasions, but nothing noticeable. However, two days after installing them in my shower, one of the ball's paint has chipped off and looks like crap. Ugh. I'll probably be able to do a cover-up job with chrome nail polish, but I'm not impressed.All in all, you're probably better off to spend a little more and find something made of real metal. The design is nice, but the execution sucks.
