I love watching people open these, and seeing the range of reactions on their face. They open it, and their brow furrows but they try to keep a smile on their face, thinking maybe it's something great and they just don't understand it. They start thinking about how they'd use it, and start to put effort into not seeming ungrateful or disappointed, all the while questioning your sanity.More often than not, you have to tell them, "Go ahead and open it", so they don't just say something polite and set it aside. Then as they open it, the relief sets in that you're not an insanely bad gift giver, you're just a smart alec!

The gift box is a great gag gift to give to family members or friends! They laughed all night about it, and will remember this one forever. The quality of the box is very good as well. However, it’s good for small presents only, i had to try and put a 100ft extension cord in one of them, but finally got it in there, and had to use packaging tape on one side. Other than that, it’s a fantastic purchase and I recommend these boxes to anyone who wants to get a good laugh!

Wow. So I bought three of these on Christmas - two for my sister (one being the pet sweeper one) and one for my mother (household chores video game) at Christmas. There was one really disappointing thing about them - they are all the same box size, which is not particularly large. I thought for sure that would be a dead give-away that this was not a real thing. But at least with this Pet Petter it is so mean against pets (Never touch your pets again!) that my sister read it and promptly put it to the side without opening the box. And then she opened the pet sweeper one and again was so disappointed she didn't open it. Then my mother got her "household chores" and actually talked about trying it out tomorrow. Hilarious. For me, at least. I was astounded that they wouldn't notice the same box size, the ridiculous size requirements of the Pet Petter reaching a horse, or in the case of the pet sweeper one that the dog was wearing shovels that they clearly wouldn't fit in the box. None the less, everybody accepted the boxes for what they seemed to be, and quite frankly I was so amazed at the power of human assumption that I really didn't know what to do when everyone thought the boxes contained real products. Except laugh. A lot. And then at the end of the night laugh some more as everybody learned what was inside. Truly hilarious, to me, at least.

Fun prank box. I ended up getting 4 different ones to use for Christmas. I did get a few laughs. The only problem I had was putting them together; they aren't very thick or sturdy and I found it difficult to fill with items since they will slide around inside.

I got my boss so good with this box. We had a $15 limit, half of which I spent on this. I put a few food items and some play mice for his cat inside and stuffed it well.Unfortunately I wasn't in the room when he opened it, but he told me all about it afterward. I left it in his office 2 days before Christmas.At that point nearly everyone else in the office had received their gifts. There was so much build-up because a coworker got 3 gifts. He thought his name had been left out of the hat and had been moping for more than a week about how his secret santa sucked. (I had pretended that I was that guys secret santa)He said that at first he was like "WTF. Why would someone buy something like this for anyone." Then after looking at it some more he was disappointed that the PetPetter wasn't actually inside!I have never April Fooled anyone. This was my first real gag gift. I was extremely pleased with myself. I couldn't have anticipated all of the childish grumbling about his present, which made everything so much better. I was beside myself when hearing all of his expletives from coworkers. I really hope he gets a chance to re-gift this box and fool someone else.

I order one of these boxes (all different, there are so many), every time I give someone a gift whom I haven't given a prank box to. It is so funny. A majority of the time the prank box shows such an oddity gift that the person is questioning the gift for five or so minutes BEFORE they open the box and realize it was a prank. My husband is a computer freak so I got him the one with several arm remotes, my daughter is an animal lover, so she received this one, the "Petpetter." They are hysterical and tell all about the product on every side of the box with a small area for advertising of other boxes of products they suggest you try. Those too, all hysterical. My brother has an earwax problem, so obviously, he got the "Earwax Candle" which states he can make earwax candles all year with his own earwax. YUCK! They are a riot and you will love these. STRONGLY recommend.

This was such a great idea! I purchased 8 different boxes, wrapped all of my family's gifts in them this past Christmas and had them all open my gift to them all at once. Everyone had totally different expressions on their faces and it was CLASSIC!!! Some crinkled their noses, others looked completely confused, and some completely caught on immediately. It was so much fun!! Highly recommend this idea, but check the size of the box and make sure that your gift will fit inside. Gift cards are perfect because you can fill it with wrapping tissue and place the gift card in the middle...however, the weight needs to match what is on the outside of the box to reduce suspicion that you are pulling their leg! ;-) Have fun!
