Figuring out I have been iron deficient for a decade and finally doing something about it has been transformative. I have more energy, my hair is growing back. This is the best iron supplement you can get. A month of this and I went from critical anemia to normal iron levels in my blood. Granted it was medication that knocked it down in the first place but it only took a month of this to get it back up to normal levels and it didn't do what regular iron does to my gut which is stop everything up completely. This is gentle but very effective and I would highly recommend it if you have iron deficiency.

I started this iron supplement 4 months ago and so far it has been great! I purchased it because my ferritin levels came back super low and I was feeling horrible. After just a few months, I definitely have more energy and some of my other symptoms (insomnia and hair fall) are starting to balance out. It is super gentle on the stomach, I had no issues at all with nausea or cramping (like I had heard about with other forms of iron). I will continue to take this until my ferritin levels are ideal and then supplement as necessary. Definitely recommend!

I was a few points away from an iron transfusion and spending all my time sleeping. I was exhausted. My Dr suggested taking this particular iron supplement. I’ve been taking it for almost a month and I am recovering. I do not sleep all the time. I can make it through the day without a nap. It doesn’t taste bad and has not caused any gastrointestinal issues for me.

I hardly ever write reviews, and I think this might be the first negative review I've ever written, but I feel compelled to warn others about this product. This was a dangerous experiment for me. I took two capsules (big mistake) one morning on an empty stomach. This was about 8 am. I felt just fine. Around 12 pm (four hours later) I was feeding my toddlers lunch when I noticed a slight vertigo when I turned my head. Strange, but whatever. Over the next ten minutes, it rapidly worsened to the point where I asked my husband to clock out of work and watch the kids; I needed to lay down. I laid down for about 30 minutes, during which time I began to feel the rumblings of a diarrhea attack. I stood up to go to the restroom and found that I couldn't keep my balance and my husband had to help me to the bathroom. At this point I was getting waves of intense nausea and began dry heaving while sitting on the toilet. This lasted until 9 pm that night. I seriously considered going to the ER until I read some of the other reviews and discovered I was not the first to experience this. Sounds like others had it less intense, but there's no mistaking what caused it. The next two days I still felt sick with a migraine. I am terrified to even give this to someone else; it's going in the trash.I wrote an email to the company with a very mildly worded description of what happened and a request for a refund, or at the very least, an explanation for why I and others may have had this reaction to their product. Nothing. No response. Sketchy to say the least. Take this at your own risk.

I have been severely anemic for a long time. Every iron supplement I have tried in the past has not set well with my stomach. This is the only supplement that I have taken that has worked with my stomach and has helped increase my iron levels.

Love Simply Heme! After iron infusions, I needed a way to supplement iron to keep my numbers up. Every iron supplement I tried gave me acid reflux or headaches. This is the ONlY iron my stomach can handle!
