Pictures are clear, works great
I got this professionally installed - because let's be real, unless it's plug and play, I have no interest in electrocuting myself. It works great - pictures are clear - the app is easy to use and provides the comfort I wanted to watch out for the crazy NYC drivers!

Won't Connect To WiFi: Updated
Took this POS to a professional audio/tint place. Tech who installed it has the 700 series model. He advised me that the 128G storage card was missing. He also mentioned that of all of the installs that he as done with BlackVue dashcams, they never arrived in a brown box that was generic. He questioned if this was a refurbished unit. I paid them $125 to install a defective unit that cost over $500... So pissed right now. Thinking about cancelling my Amazon account.....that pissed off!!!Update: Amazon shipped me a replacement. Took it to the same installer. He swapped out the front camera and, bingo, wifi connected. They also included the 128GB microSD card this time.Because I had to go thru all of that to get a working specimen, I'll upgrade the rating from 1 star to 3 stars. Good dashcam, just a roll of the dice.

It just works!
There is truth to the statement "you get what you pay for". This is my 3rd dash cam and it is the most simple and user friendly dash camera I've ever used, so far. What's even better is the fact that it works every single time I drive. I also love the fact that the camera connects to the Cloud when I drive via my phone's hotspot and then when I get home it automatically connects to my home's wifi instead. My previous 2 dashcams couldn't do that! The camera is pricey, but it's worth it, 100%!

The app is trash. Expect a monthly cost for the full benefit.
Don’t buy this unless you’re willing to pay more on a monthly basis.This is a better product for those driving for commission and less so for the day to day driver.It is nearly impossible to read any license plates on any moving vehicles.By the way. The BlackVue app is completely trash. Search for the app reviews as well.

Lousy customer support
nice small camera, fits nice in my S580 Mercedes , picture quality is terrific. however the instruction book is poorly written, and its the worse customer support I have every encountered. Their cloud service will not let me log in to register a camera , it says i do not have an account , then when i go to open an account it says account exists and will not let me reset the password. After three months of emails and phone calls I give up. So if your buying this for their cloud service, stay away. if you want a modern sleek camera with great quality and use the sd card its nice.
