Pretzel Pete Pretzel Nuggets, Honey Mustard, 8 oz Bag (Pack of 12)

I purchased the 36 - 2oz packs of Spicy Sour Cream & Habanerero. I like the 2oz packages because this size allows me to eat them when I wish and not worry about eating them before they are stale. I am a chili head and I love the heat of the Spicy Sour Cream & Habanero, however I think that the heat needs to be enhanced by something other than sour cream flavor. I will continue to buy this flavor however I think that a Spicy "Onion or Garlic or Cheese" Sour Cream and Habanero flavor would be more flavorful.I will continue to order the "Spicy Sour Cream & Habanero" because of the habanero heat and not the bland flavor of the so called "sour cream".

I bought a box of these while xmas shopping and was completely surprised at how good they were! Went back the next day and bought the rest of the garlic & onion flavor. Went through them at a rapid pace because they are just that good. I was glad to find them on Amazon and ordered a box of 12 bags to support my new habit...and am now ordering another box this week. They are puffy enough to be easy on the teeth and have the desired garlic/salt ratio. Great for saltaholics. Bet they'd be good in soup instead of crackers! Try some, you'll like 'em.

I'd had the honey-mustard ones and loved them, and was about to order them again when this variety caught my eye. They sounded delicious.Well, it stops there. These are truly inedible. They are so overseasoned and so oversalted, they make your eyes water. The only way to eat them at all is to vigorously rub each one with a napkin first, and even then, it's not an enjoyable experience.Can't believe I'm stuck with a whole case of these things. I won't even get through one bag. My advice... never buy a case of anything unless you know for a fact you love it. Even if you DID enjoy another variety of the same product.

These pretzels are very tasty and not hard little rocks like some pretzels are but they are WAY too salty. One package actually lasts me a week to ten days because I can only tolerate a certain level of salt in my diet and so..... by day 10, they are tasting a bit on the stale side and therefore quite unappetizing. I wonder why they have to be manufactured with sooooo much salt? If you like and can tolerate a high salt diet....these will be great for you since they really are very tasty. Try them and see what you think!

I've been enjoying Pretzel Pete's Sour Cream Spicy Hot pretzels for several years, and I have to say that they've changed the formula within the past year or so. They used to have a real spicy tang to them, befitting the use of the word "habanero" in their name. But lately, and I mean within the last two boxes of 12 bags I've purchased from Amazon, they've cut back on the spicy leaving a rather bland sour cream-flavored pretzel. There used to be a streak of green-colored spice along the cleft in the long side, but the vast majority of the individual pretzel bites lack this flavoring now. Cost cutting? Catering to the boring blandness of the average palate? Who knows. I do know that I probably won't be buying them again.

So after years and years of devoted diligence, I've finally found the perfect pretzel ~ Pete's Gourmet Honey Mustard gems. Discovered them yesterday at TJ Maxx, of all places, and promptly came online today to order some more. I think the 36 pack of 2 oz. each is the best idea, but I also got a 2-pack of the gift box with the variety of choices ~ one for me and one for the other pretzel devotee in my life.These are exactly as described on the box, if not better - the way they're split and the softness of the texture makes each one the absolutely perfect bite. There's just enough honey, just enough mustard, and most importantly, just enough salt; most pretzel makers overdo it on the salt, or they use those big crystals of salt which don't really taste that great in your mouth...but these babies......perfect. Can't wait for the gift boxes, so I can try the other varieties. I'm sure they're just as mouth-wateringly delicious and perfect. . .Did I mention perfect?

Nice flavor but on the salty side. Very messy - not for working on the computer! My kids don't like them. They are very filling.

I hate spending $5 to $10 each day on a poor quality sandwich downtown, so I keep a desk drawer full of my Pretzel Pete peanut butter pretzels. Munching on one bag of these, at about 60 cents each, gives me what I need to make it through the day and saves me a ton of money each month. Have been doing this for the past year or more and I still love them!
