OPT normally has good stuff, this is not one of them. takes 4x longer than traditional compounds to get a decent result. Fan boy of the hyper polish and thought this would be just as good. if your trying to get a deep cut into paint look elsewhere.

Optimum polymer Technologies makes 5 star products. I really lik the HYPER TWINS! If you need light swirls removed , this is the product for u. OPT has the simplest and most effective system in the industry! Every OPT product I have tried, I have liked. Spray compound makes for quick machine work. Give OPT Hyper Compound a shot. U will Love it. Dont expect heavy cutting action though. This is fir minor swirls.

I'll split this review into two parts -- the product itself and the sprayer. The compound -- I purchased this product because I like most Optimum products (Opti-seal is awesome!), and I was looking for a user friendly compound to take out some 3000 grit wet sanding marks on car paint. This product was excellent for that purpose. It is not a heavy cut, "rocks in a bottle" type compound. I would call it a medium cut -- depending on what pad you use of course. I was using a Lake Country medium cut pad on a PC 7424XP and did not have any negative issues. The compound was easy to use, had a decently long work time, left very good results, and was easy to remove. So, five stars there. The sprayer -- One of the proposed benefits of this compound is its ability to be sprayed from the bottle. This is supposed to end any guess work about how much compound to use. Well, that would be great if the sprayer didn't clog up every five seconds like the one I had did. In fact, the sprayer was worthless. It didn't matter how much I shook the bottle to mix the product, the sprayer still clogged up. I just think compound is too thick of a product to be effectively sprayed. I ended up removing the sprayer and just used a few drops from the bottle. Kinda defeats the purpose, ya know? Bottom line -- Five stars for the medium cut compound and zero stars for the sprayer. Four stars overall because I don't want to blast a good product because of a crappy sprayer. I'm going to put a squirt top on the bottle and roll with that the next time I need to use the compound.
