Nice filter assembly. No problems with it at all. Using it on my irrigation system.

Putting this mesh screen upstream of another filter to remove larger impurities and make my system more efficient. In my application, this mesh strainer is a bit small, but the price and availability were right. I use the system intermittently so will watch it and clean the strainer regularly. Will save much time over having to clean the nozzles downline.

I've been having a lot of problems with eelgrass getting sucked up through the strainer of my boat's thru-hull and wrapping around the internal blades of my bait pump. This has caused my bait pump to fail intermittently, which has killed a lot of bait and ruined more than a few fishing trips. I decided to try this in-line filter, and I'm so glad I did! It's been a total game-changer. The filter has prevented any eelgrass or other particulates from getting to my bait pump, and my pump has been running smoothly ever since. I really like the fact that the filter is super easy to clean with just a turn of the filter. There are no hoses or clamps to deal with which has always been a huge pain. I also like that it's made of clear plastic, so I can easily visually check for debris. The only downside to the filter is that it makes it a little more difficult to get my pump primed. But once it's primed, it runs strongly all day long, even when I'm stopped. Overall, I'm very happy with this in-line filter. It's a great solution for preventing eelgrass and other debris from clogging your bait pump. I highly recommend it!

To use this without leaks, you will need either metric G threaded/BSPT threads and an o-ring, or expect leaks with true NPT fittings and pipe To my way of thinking, the inlet liquid should flow around the outside of the screen and then through. That would make the arrow backwards.

Was having problems with grit getting into my water system. This did the trick. Planted it before the pressure pump.

Perfect fit. Easy clean up. Does not restrict water flow. Our pressure washer likes it
