Vandoren SR2625R Alto Sax JAVA Red Reeds Strength 2.5; Box of 10

These are one of the best reeds I’ve used in my 7 years of playing the alto sax!

These reeds provide a very nice jazz sound on my alto. They seem a little stiffer than some other 2.5 reeds, but they are consistently playable.

Java Red is similar to Java Green but a notch harder in the same number. Red produces a more focus attacking woody tone versus Green is more Rico buzzy which is good for Jazz, Pop playing. I play both reeds, Red and Green. Both can be pushed to the limit but Red can whisper also.

Lo recomiendo muchísimo, mi novio tiene años sutilizándolas y la verdad son buenisimas, la recomiendo mucho a parte de que duran. 10/10.

These have been my choice in reeds for many years, and they continue to out-perform others. Great product at a fair price.

Creo que el lo único detalle que puedo decir es que en 3 meses ya tenía la mitad de la caja usada aun que eso depende que tipo de música hagas si quieres algo más duradero puede ser las vandoren Zz pero un numero más bajo para mejor comodidad

I couldn't tell you the difference between red and green java, but from my experience red I great for jazz and vibrato, work well with 6c mouth peice. High quality and worthwhile reeds

Excellentes anches Java AA 3 qui vont parfaitement avec mon bec Meyer 6m. Les Vandoren sifflaient celles ci non. Le son est généreux et elles sont faciles à jouer.

As usual with Vandoren reeds, excellent quality. And great tone.
