Culligan WH-S200-C Whole-House Sediment Water Filtration System, Clear

I made the mistake of doing what most people do. After installing, I screwed the body into the top piece and tightened it until it felt "right." It leaked. I read reviews here and saw that others had experienced the same problem. But then I read the directions and it said to rub some silicone grease (safe for humans) on the O Ring and don't overtighten. Sure enough that was the key and no leaks. It's great that it's clear so you can monitor what's going on inside.

I initially was going to return this product as it started having a small leak/seepage from under the selector handle itself. Fortunately I decided to just disassemble it. One screw under the cap that removes the pressure release red button, then 2 screws on top of the handle once you remove the middle of the handle cover. Not sure what the issue was, but there is 3 o-rings that would be replaceable, but after applying some additional silicon lubricant and reassembling, its working perfectly.

Very satisfied with this filter, have installed a few. It’s my go to.

The inline shut off valve makes this a game changer and the best available. My threads got a little damaged from trying to use brass fittings, so I’d suggest using pvc.

Great house filter, year after install and no leaks.

Paired this with two sediment pre filters. First one is 100 micron, then 40 micron, then into the Culligan. I'm using a 5 micron in the Culligan. As you can see, l have well water with lots of rust and clay sediment. I figured l better triple team the rust to KO it once and for all. Mission accomplished and at a very economical price. As you can see all appliances are new: new pressure tank, pressure tank switch, new brass tee, new check valve, new PEX tubing, new gauges, shut-off valves, water softener, Hot water heater, thermal expansion tank, all new! I bought a fixer upper home that was unfortunately neglected and the rust and sediment literally ruined everything. But that's all in the past now, great days ahead.
