Could help with EPI aka Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency
I have a 2 year old German shepherd I rescued. Ever since I got her she has soft stool BUT not all the time. Some weeks were better than others. She does drink a lot of water too. She loves to eat. When I get her she was really skinny and the guy I got her from said he was not sure why. She was also Very weak.I thought it was food allergies because GSD can get these. She is on Taste of The Wild , grain free. Yes some other food just did not sit well with her. I tried Taste of the Wild ancient grain and that was bad. She also was eating poop. All of this made me think something must be wrong with my dog. BUT she acted normal and has put on weight and is much stronger. So I knew it was nothing too extreme. Her coat is shiny and she looks good.On a GSD group someone brought up Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency or EPI for short. I looked into it. Turns out this is VERY common in purebred GSD. I started looking for some digestive Enzyme stuff. Some are so expensive. I just wanted to get a less expensive one to try it out before I commit to a pricy one. This was the right price and safe. After only 2 days my dogs stool is normal again. She will still sneak a poop to eat but we have just started the treatment. I am going to bring her to the Vets again to confirm what I am pretty sure I know. I was a vet tech so I know a little about dog health.I don't think the dogs like the taste because they kind of lick at it and try to work around it. SO I add a little bit of water and that helps. Over all so far I am really happy and I think I figured out the problem. Will talk with my vet and get it confirmed. last check up all was good from what they could see.Up-date- Our little elderly dog pooped in the house. The Crazy thing was his poop did not smell.

Don’t buy
This made my dog sick. This made my dog have loose stools in the house. Once I stopped it the next day he stopped having diarrhea in house. Will not purchase again and I can’t even return item.

WAAAAAY too expensive now!
I like the product but I hate the company that makes it: They raised their prices from $28 to $38 just since December 2024! Costs of materials and shipping have NOT risen in that timeframe. This is highway robbery, and I won't stand for it.I'm going to vote with my dollars, and find another source for doggie enzymes. This price is RIDICULOUS.

Dog has pancreatitis I use less then 1/4 recommended dose daily
My dog has had several bouts of pancreatic attacks I describe symptoms similar to painful labor or gallbladder attack. That’s how I describe her pain she shows signs of: being calm then jumps out of her bed like she’s being poked or kicked in stomach, whining, pacing all night unable to sleep & get comfortable, digging her bedding like preparing for pups or labor, hiding in closet, unable to get comfortable whole night sometimes through next morning, stretching full body, sticking bottom in air, vets call this praying position where she would express she’s in pain, sometimes vomiting but not each pancreatic attack. These attacks have happened more as she’s getting older. She’s 9 years old and progressed last 4 years. These attacks occur after eating something with fat, rawhide bones, treats, and dog toothpaste. Now afraid to use dog toothpaste her teeth are so full of hard dry gunk but afraid to use toothpaste since most triggers attack. Even Glucosamine Chondroitin Pet Vitamins caused attacks. I used same brand for years on other dogs but unable to use for pancreatitis dog. After so much sleepless nights not knowing what’s going on I discovered pancreatitis. And believe that’s exactly what she has. We changed diet strictly Dog Food, Now she’s on strict Costco dog food diet No human table scraps. Not great healthy brand but she’s doing good on strict dog food. Same as science diet no difference in her attacks since cheaper we’re sticking to Costco. But you might have to change low fat dog food for your dog.Strict dog food diet has helped tremendously and hardly has attacks since but Sadly once in a while she still has an attack and unknown why but possibly because getting older and no cure. Make sure no friends are family drop food or feed them anything! New foods can trigger attacks.Pancreatitis is very painful and no cure disease. Pepcid and enzymes can help. Be careful with probiotics it can make things worse. Sadly I can’t afford testing & vet treatment plus sometimes vets have no cure and just want to put on IV and fast them. But they can prescribe you Pain Medicine. So eventually if it worsens I will ask vet for Pain Medicine for my dog.Right now am doing everything at home to educate myself on disease and control Oreos diet.My dog is hungry all the time when she’s well but if I feed just a little too much it can trigger an attack.I started these enzymes and believe they’re helping. Yes buy them. I highly recommend! Please Do Not Give Pet Full Dose at first.Dose of included spoon, Full dose is way too strong for my Oreo. I just sprinkle a little dust on her breakfast once a day. Less than 1/4 recommended dose. Just grab a pinch of sprinkle and once a day sprinkle on her breakfast. I think it’s helping but making her have dry mouth. So make sure you give them lost of water or crushed ice daily. She has had one attack since starting 3 months ago but it was not nearly as bad and painful as other attacks she’s had before. No crying or whining, just hiding and unable to sleep, but that’s a huge difference then past attacks:If just starting this enzyme please start first week slow, sprinkle a little dust once a day on food for breakfast. Then Next week add a little more powdered enzyme. Then if no symptoms on 3rd week add a little more enzyme powder. Don’t start full dose until you feel your pet is ready for full doseMy 20pound chihuahua terrier breed does not need full dose it’s too strong just a small sprinkle a day is helping her. Some people mix food with water to help dogs enjoy little more.I will recommend and continue to use this enzyme and encourage you to try small sprinkle first before full dose on Directions.Check with your vet for info and dosage on Pepcid. Dogs can have tiny dose of Pepcid for pancreatic attacks. I break less than 1/4 piece of Pepcid pill when my 20lb dogs having attack.Hang in there pet owners I know dealing with this is very scary. I also put on app of white noise or soft classical music on low so dogs can try to relax to keep them calmer while having an attack.

My cat eats it!
I got this product because it was a powder that sticks to the food. My 17 year old cat developed diabetes early this year (it was actually coming on long before we realized it) and has lost about 2 pounds in 7 months. While stabilizing on insulin over 6-8 months, he also had several attacks of pancreatitis. He then recently began experiencing failing pancreas because he was having yellow runny stools constantly and with increasing frequency. He would not eat the chewable enzymes. I started him on the powdered enzymes about a month ago on a Wednesday night and by the following Sunday his stools were firm and dark brown. He must have enzymes for life in both dry and wet food at every meal and mixed onto snacks in order to help him absorb nutrition. It's been a month now and he's gained a pound back and stools are firm and brown most of the time instead of the other way around. He still gets occasional attacks and yellow soft stool about once a week. I've read that cats should have animal product pancreas enzymes, however this product is all plant based enzymes and my cat is doing well for an 88 year old man (cat age). So glad it's working on him!

Game Charger
I tried another enzyme that my cat would not touch because the smell was so bad. I found this one and she has been eating it without issue. No smell. No taste. It's perfect. I have absolutely seen an improvement in her bowel movements. Hopefully she can start gaining her weight back soon.
