Ok
The lens on these seem to be very good and the no dizzy feeling is true, at least with me. We ordered a set of VR goggles before these and we thought the lens were very poor quality and made it hard to see things clearly and it would make me feel slightly sick after a short time. The goggles by Beusoft don't seem to have that problem. They came with a remote control that is very hard to use and takes a lot of guessing to figure it out. Even after some time we can't get it to work like we think it should. The number one problem we found was the instructions. The goggles and the remote come with their own instruction sheet which is bare bones basic, and I mean basic! Then to make matters even worse it is written by someone who does not speak English and lied about being able to do so. Good luck understanding what they are trying to say, but that seems to be a problem with most things any more. VR is still pretty new and maybe our expectations were to high.

expectations of mediocracy met!
At this price point I wasn't expecting marvelous. Good news, my expectations were met. 1) the lid closes on the top with a small latch. My phone hasn't fallen out yet, but it's early. Given a little more wear and I may have to jury-rig a closure with velcro and glue. 2) the sliders for lens adjustment are on the bottom and there's no way to secure them; I find myself re-adjusting focal length when they move out of adjustment frequently. 3) the head straps are nice, but with the weight of my Samsung 6 edge +, it pulls forward and I frequently re-adjust the headset. 4) the remote is nice, but I failed to memorize the button layout and found myself turning on my music instead of selecting a button to start or play a game.In short, if you don't want to spend $100+ on a headset and didn't want a cardboard rig, this may be the answer. It arrived on time and in working condition, so there's that...

Comfortable and does some nice things for the price.
I may have commented earlier about the product's limitations. I own a large Huawei and I bought this because it said it would fit. Yes, it does fit but it seemed to have problems with Google cardboard and Samsung platforms. I finally tried a few items with Occulus Rift formatting and got the 3D effect. Very nice. The remote isn't very helpful (no instructions) and you need to adjust the alignment but it is comfortable and inexpensive compared to a genuine Occulus or Vive. File it under, "you get what you pay for". Product arrived ontime and support was above the norm so I would just say research what you are buying and don't expect a $30 headset to match an $800 one.

Headset OK but not as clear as some, remote is junk, instructions are non-existent, and overall not worth even this price.
Just got it today, first attempt at a VR, and first strike out.Pro - the headset itself seems OK, if a little awkward/unbalanced. I was able to focus reasonably well, but still saw some things out of focus, could be due to the quality of the app and not the headset. *** Update - the build quality of the headset is OK, but the picture was not as clear as a similarly priced headset I recently tried from a local store. The good thing about this headset is it doesn't use a clamp, so it didn't press buttons on my phone - instead it pushes the phone up against the headset using a large cushion-thingy. Not a bad design, but I could see it wearing out in the future, or having a too-thick phone in a case causing it to pop out unexpectedly. The other unit I tried had a nearly identical remote, but one that actually paired with my phone. So my issue with this unit's remote was still a valid complaint.Con - the remote is useless, as many other reviews state (Update - especially bad compared to another unit I recently tried with a nearly identical remote). Couldn't get it to sync, and there are NO instructions, despite the description. Well, unless you define "instructions" as "search for this on the internet", and "here is what comes with the thing you just bought". No instructions on how to use the remote, or the headset for that matter. It is entirely possible I just couldn't figure out how to sync, and the remote may work, but to me it is functionally useless as I spent 30 minutes trying without success (and I am not technically unsavvy). And the remote quality is very low, lower than I would expect for this price point (which I know is not gold standard) - not on par with the headset.Since I bought this for the remote, and that is useless to me, this is going back. And I wouldn't recommend this to anyone else, since the reviews largely seem to be fake according to one other reviewer, which definitely could explain things.Going back for attempt number two, probably a local store instead. (update - attempt number two struck out also...my phone is very large, Nexus 6P, and buttons are in the center of the phone body. This makes for a finicky phone setup)Amazon, as always, was quick and easy!

Returning
Well, I previously wrote a not so great review and to my surprise the seller sent me an email with a fix to the problem. I was having issues with the remote and I couldn't play games but then what I realised, although embarrassing is that the fault was mine. But you have to find the right applications to use the headset with and I'll suggest cardboard(which has a lot of games it suggests) and cardboard camera. With the right apps, you'll definitely have a swell time with this headset

OK for a Tempory Use-Case
This unit is for sure better than some phone based VR head sets. It does has some of the important adjustments for depth and side to side tweaking to line up properly with your eyes. But the headset is still somewhat uncomfortable to wear for any longer than 30-45mins. And if you have played VR on something like an Oculus or a Vive, no matter what phone you have to put in this headset, it will not be nearly as good as those much higher end flagship VR headsets. Yes you may have some $800 phone, but that won't make any of these phone based headset anywhere close to the higher end VR models. This unit might be fine to satisfy your kids for a few minutes, but don't buy this expecting to get an amazing family VR setup or anything that will impress your friends.
