Preservation Solutions Quart, Pentacryl Wood Stabilizer

I never heard of this product until I got involved in a wood donut project for my daughter's barn wedding. I was talking to a friend about what I was going to do with the wood and he told me that I should put something on the wood to prevent them from cracking. I researched the process and found that Pentacryl Wood Stabilizer was the product to use. I purchased the product, applied as directed and no cracks. It has been several weeks since I applied Pentacryl and still no cracking. I highly recommend this product to prevent the wood from cracking.

High quality product, easy to apply and store.

Sadly another of our 60' Pine trees succumbed to pine beetles and had to get cut down. In preparation for the tree removal, I ordered the Preservation Solutions Pentacryl so that I could apply it immediately to the freshly cut 32" diameter pine trunk cookie. It worked perfectly and in a couple more months will be ready for sanding and finishing.
