Long story short: I bought these at £9 for 12. At that price, it’s great. I would say though. If they’re above £14, look at the other options (I’d personally pick grenade but ON or huel are good, if they’re at similar prices or even lower than these bars) Got the cookies and cream flavour. They taste decent for a flapjack. I’d say I’d still prefer the taste and texture of a grenade bar but for not having any palm or rapeseed oil is defo a plus. Has got vegetable oil but it is also half the price of most of the Grenada bars. It’s essentially a slightly cookies and cream tasting flapjack with a very slight stingy aftertaste (good sting though). Size is decent. It’s more dense than something like a grenade bar. Has slightly higher sugar but I’d say it helps it. Fibre is good, about 7.2g. Not too high in sugars. I’ve definitely seen bars with more but then again not on the grenade level of about 2, this has 3g. Overall, I’d say most reviews are too harsh on it since they’re expecting a more traditional protein bar (think your PHDsmart’s, Grenades and optimum nutrition) and it’s not as ‘chocolatey’ as those but still tastes good and I would give it 4.5 stars and rounds to 5

I was genuinely not a fan of the first one of these I ate, but I realized the issue was my own expectations. If you bite into this expecting it to taste anything like "Cookies and Cream", you will be disappointed. It doesn't taste anything like the unhealthy snack it is named after, and the texture may be tougher and dryer than you expect. However, once I got past that initial surprise, I actually started to enjoy them more and more with every bar. The texture and taste are much closer to a dense oat flapjack with a slightly unusual, hard-to-describe sweetness. Once you accept it for what it is, it's actually a very pleasant, filling snack - though it's best to have a drink handy as they can be a bit dry. Where this product absolutely shines is the nutritional profile and the price. It delivers on the 20g of protein, high fibre, and low sugar claims, making it a great alternative to junk food. Better yet, the cost per bar is incredibly competitive in some cases, it is literally half the price of other leading protein brands. Admittedly, you get a better texture and flavour with those other brands - but in terms of content this is pretty good. I will definitely consider buying more, but I'd maybe opt for a different flavour next time.

I love flapjack, and also cookies, but I'm trying not to eat either at the moment, and wanted a healthier snack that has a good amount of protein. These bars fit the bill, and also have a decent amount of fibre, which can't be a bad thing. They're quite substantial and filling, without being a chore to eat. The bars aren't crumbly either, so no worries about making a mess if you're eating them in the car. Bonus. So far I've bought: Cookies and Cream (several boxes now). Not very flapjacky, but they're pleasant, filling, and not over-sweet, which is just as well, as I'd be tempted to scoff them all! Double Chocolate: I really like these. Lots of chocolatey flavour and chunks, without the possible mess if you're on the go, or if they get a bit warm. For me, a small step up from the Cookies and Cream. Honey and Berries: I love these. Really tasty fruity flavour, proper moist flapjack texture, kind of reminds me of a Bakewell. My fave so far. Maybe they're not quite as moreish as Grenade's Oero flavour (yum), but they're more filling, taste plenty nice enough, and are usually considerably cheaper. I'll definitely be back for more.

Very dry and bitter taste, hardly any cookie and cream taste. Fairly filling but just so dry and sour. Do not recommend.

it is cheap and the sizes of the bars are good but it is very grainy and it doesnt taste of cookies and cream at all. in my opinion they dont taste very nice so if your looking for a close healthy alternative to flapjacks or chocolate i wouldnt pick this flavour

Good but taste is not great

Would not purchase again, even though they're cheap. They taste far too sweet and the texture is very dry and gritty. Compared to other protein bars or flapjacks these are subpar at best. You get what you pay for I guess. Thanks, but no thanks.

Big chunky sawdust-looking (and a bit tasting) bar. It goes down but it's not like you would expect. Taste... I don't like it and doesn't really taste like oreo, and it gives me this "solvent" smell/taste to it...but ofc there are no solvents in it but idk maybe something in the process fermented... Idk I don't give 1 star because it's cheap and it goes down the throat but nothing good. 1.5/5
