Magnets holds canned smoke securely. Just press gently against center of detector to release puff of smoke, wait for alarm, then "pump" to air out the chamber. I quickly removed can of smoke before airing it out to ensure I didn't accidentally add smoke again. Tested several detectors mounted on 14' vaulted ceiling. Significantly less expensive than Solo tester. Just pair it with a telescopic pole for the height you need. As a fire inspector I have been searching for a economical and quick assembly machine to activate the numerous smoke alarms I test on a regular basis. This machine is both easy to use and apply. Excellent product although it is a bit pricy

Smoker works great. It has saved me so much time and work while doing inspections and testing. Would recommend to anyone who does smoke detector testing.

I bought this with the expectation it would not work. I was wrong. I've been in the Fire trade for 35 years. This is the best design I've used. For the price it well worth buying. Cheap enough to keep one on every truck. This is a win,

This item is made of plastic with a tiny magnet and should cost less than $15. It must cost $1.50 to make. Yes it works but it’s obscene how expensive it is. They don’t even include a can of spray.
