I gave this to my 3 year old for her birthday - it has been such a great present! Not only do we save paint by not having to rinse off plates with unused paint, but the separate brushes keep the paints from becoming mixed. It’s easy to get them out and easy to put them away. The most time consuming part is rinsing out the brushes and even then it’s not a big deal.

These are great containers for three year olds.

The cups come stacked, and even my husband could not get them apart, hence the 4 star review. Thought I’d have to return, but I ran cold water over them and twisted them a bit, and they did come apart. They do not spill over and are sturdy and secure. The lids are not meant to be air tight and they don’t click when you put them on, but with the inner cap, no air can get in. I clean off the inner cap before putting away so it’s all clean for when they will be used again. Not sure how long the paint stays fresh…we only used a few times, but I think it will be an issue at all.

They are the perfect size and won't spill!

Initially I loved them! They are the perfect size for my students. They are easy to use, my students dip the paint brush and wipe the paint off. They do the job right. The brush absorbs a lot of paint so I have to help some of my students not drown their papers with paint but they have so much fun. But one cup fell and broke so easily and that sucked. I would definitely buy them again but as of right now I only have a class of 6. I’ll buy them again soon.
