[Update]The seller reached out to me after seeing my review to address my issue. They suggested me to use a regular cable as opposed to a lightning cable and that solved the charging issue. I love this product - however it did stop taking a charge less than a year after I bought it. The customer service was so kind and helpful and they sent a new one right away. Would definitely recommend buying from this company!

I love this new technology for a candle lighter. It holds a charge for a long time and I’m lighting candles 1-2 times per day. This item works effectively at lighting the candles wick in a deep jar. It’s easy to use, pretty, and thin and long. I’m very pleased with mine.

I personally hate lighting matches, so I love the idea of this electric lighter — and so far it’s been great. It charged easily out of the box and has worked well every time I’ve used it. I’ve seen some reviews mentioning issues with charging, but I’ve only needed to charge it once so far (after months of casual use), so time will tell.It’s super easy to use — the safety mechanism is intuitive and doesn’t get in the way, and the arc lights candles quickly and reliably. Perfect candle lighter, if your wife is like mine you have candles burning in the house at least 10 times a week. The long stem butane lighters were the go to but they are not the best made and don’t seem to last long. The short butane always seems to burn your fingers, let’s not even talk about matches. This thing though has lite candles probably 30 times with ease and playing with it for no reason other than just to see the arc, still has three bars left on the battery.

This electric lighter is a fantastic product. It works perfectly and is incredibly practical. I bought it mainly to light tall candles (prayer candles) and it's ideal for that; its long design lets you reach the wick easily without burning your fingers. Plus, it's rechargeable and you don't have to worry about the wind. A very good purchase!
