1M USB TO TYPE N BARREL 5V DC

This worked out great. Needed a longer plug for a digital clock. Would recommend.

I got this to work with a NewTrent Powerpack. This works with USB based chargers. I use this to actually power devices and gadgets also from the USB Charger. I have a Hak5 PineApple Mark IV, and this cable allows me to power it via a NewTrent IMP1000 Charger. Anything with a Type M barrel providing it uses low enough volts can be powered like this. Just how long is going to be based on the volts it requires, and what you do with it. The PineApple seems to require about 5 volts to run, and I can get about 1-2hrs use being mobile with a fully charged IMP1000. Now if I start to add items like a USB stick or 3G modem to the PineApple, then it greatly reduces my powering life. Overall the cable is made well, does what it should do, and opens the door for mobile powering and charging on devices that normally require an outlet for power.

I purchased this cable in hopes that it would fit my SNOM 320 VoiP phone so that I may power it via my notebook computer rather than an AC outlet. The voltages and dimensions seemed to match, but I was still uncertain. Well, it fits perfectly and powers it via my notebook's USB port with no problem, even when my notebook is running off battery power. Just what I was looking for! While I haven't torn apart the cable, it seems to be well built with higher gauge wires and enough rubbery plastic on each end to keep it from wearing out from normal use. It measured in, as advertised, at just over 3 feet long. The model number for the phone's AC adapter is PSM11R-050, rated at 5V, 2A = 10W. The dimensions of the barrel fitting into the phone are: 2.1mm inner diameter, 5.5mm outer diameter, 9.5mm in length. Polarity: positive center ("tip") as seen in the common polarity symbol: ⊖−−−C⋅−−−⊕

This replacement cord worked for my alarm clock, however the connection was not tight and loose fitting. It still worked, just be careful not to touch the cord after plugging in because it will become dislodged.

I was so happy to find this and it works very well. I have a camping shower and the company didn't state what cord works or respond to give my an idea what to buy. So I took a chance and ordered this. Love it!!

First, we're not using these cables for charging. We're using these cables for powering devices. We're currently using 4 HDMI Splitters - 2 OREI & 2 ViewHD in a Rack Mount Case for an HDMI Video Switch! These cables are perfect! Expect to also utilize these cables with Gefen HDMI Detective Plus with USB which appears to have same cabling type and power requirements. Quality built cables are heavy duty. A little larger than Ultra Thin HDMI Cables. Great Value and definitely Bang for the Buck! Using with Cargis Smart 60W 6 Port 12A Multi USB Charger. The Cargis 6 Port Charger is mounted on top of a compression bar of a Middle Atlantic OCAP-2 2U Vented Clamping Rack Shelf held in place by Zip ties. The compression bar has pre punched holes perfectly spaced for the Charger. And the StarTech Cables are tied with twist ties, for now. Great cable management and perfect device power!

One other reviewer said that it DID work with the Cradlepoint CTR35, and another said it did NOT work with the cradlepoint PHS300. I took a risk that: Cradlepoint would only use one size connector for similar products and that perhaps the second review was posted on the wrong item. Well I lost my bet. This item does NOT work with the PHS300, but I cannot speak to the CTR35. It seems that many people have been looking for a cable that works for this items... and as far as I can tell, it is not available. For some reason, Cradlepoint uses a connector with a larger than standard center pin, I would guess so that they can sell more changers rather than let customers have the conveyance of having one robust charger to all my devices.

My daughter got a record player and it didn’t come with a cord. This is a great replacement for just what it needed. Inexpensive , quick shipping. Plugged right in no problems.
