Immediately use this product on my 65lbs Goldendoodle as soon as it arrives. I usually don’t write reviews about a product but was so I impressed with this clipper. My doodle was so matted up that it jammed my other lightweight clipper but this clipper just glides through like a ski and shaved all the matted curly Goldendoodle hair with no issues, no jamming, no struggles on the dog or me operating this clipper. I have 2 large goldendoodle and I use this particular clipper on both of them on the same day. No issues whatsoever at all. The electric cord is long enough that I could walk around the table easily. Easy to handle the clipper and the speed knob how fast or slow you like on your dog. I started slow speed and build up as I go trimming them, I think my doodles enjoyed it coz it glides gently and smoothly on their skin and it doesn’t overheat, I had to pause coz my arms were tired 😀 trimming 2 doodles by myself at home. I would strongly recommend this clipper for doodles or dogs with thick coat of hair. I am really impressed with this clipper. I use oil for the blade and blow it out the hair inside the blade to keep it clean. I think my doodles love this clipper because they were so calm and relaxed when I was trimming them. The noise level was low that it didn’t bother them at all.This is money well spent on this clipper and it saved me a lot of money from taking my 2 doodles to the groomer which is ridiculously expensive. I would definitely buy this clipper again and never switch to another brand of dog clipper. I am very pleased with my purchase. ❤️❤️❤️ So grateful that I purchased this clipper.

These are amazing!!! Cuts through thick fur like butter! Easy to use. Simple to clean. Not loud at all. Did not scare our dog at all. Great cord length. Multiple blade length guards. Best clippers we have ever had. Highly recommend.

I purchased this item to get a head start on my 12.5 year old Golden Retriever's summer shave. I have a groomer that comes to the house and grooms him but as he is getting older he is having difficulty standing up for the long period of time needed to shave him. This shaver allows me to get a head start over several evenings while he is comfortable on the floor laying down. I get him partially shaved or trimmed and the groomer tidies him up when she comes so he doesn't have to stand or sit for long periods. It does work very well and I oil it right before each time I use it. The only issue I have found is I am not terribly fond of the attachments/guards that go on the shaver as they tend to cause the hair to bind up even after 1 line. I do shave in line with the hair or going with the hair not against the grain and clean out any visual hair after each pass. I also would have placed the on/off button elsewhere as I often bump it with my finger. I know this sounds bad but that is just a small issue. This shaver does an excellent job at shaving the different types of hair my dog has.

It worked well on trimming the mats from my Himalayan cat's body. Over the years have owned several electric pet trimmers and this is the best, regardless of price. The noise level was a little higher than I expected from the advertising, but not a deal-breaker. I recommend this product.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:We have three doggies...all need haircuts. I do it myself to save money. I use this a great deal. This is the only trimmer I have found that doesn't get hot, does a nice job, doesn't make loud noises, and clean up is easy. My first one last two years. That says a great deal for how much I used it. It's a great bargain for the cost.

This is the best clipper I've ever used on my dog. She has gnarly, fine, quick matting hair that will clog a set of Wahl's in a heartbeat. Her coat was so thick, I had turned to using sheep shears on her (which will cut through there, but they're dangerous and leave an uneven result). I thought I'd give it one more try (been through five sets of Wahl's clippers, and a sheep shear) and bought this one to even up the job the sheep shears left. I was amazed how well it cut through all of her hair. Couple of secrets to remember, keep the blades oiled (a couple of times during one grooming), go with the grain of the hair at first (once you get it trimmed down, you can come back against the grain and get a pretty good result), and don't push down to cut tough hair (instead, pull the dog's skin tight where you're having a problem). These clippers were even quiet. My dog was less intimidated by these, than the Wahl clippers, and she staid still for almost the entire grooming.

I’ve used this on my goldendoodle once so far. He has the “fleece” type hair and even the wahl clippers wouldn’t work on him.These clippers exceeded my expectation! I used the 12mm guard and went to work the day they came him. I spent 4 hours on my guy. Slow and steady. I had let his hair grow out for several months, and these clippers worked through the density with little issues.Negatives:The power button does get pushed while working and it’s annoying but didn’t really bother me.There is a gap between the guard and the clippers that would get full of small hairs and the clippers wouldn’t really work well. I had to stop often to take the guard off, clear the head, and then continue on. That got very tedious.The clippers did get warm/hot. If you’re going to work for long periods of time with them be prepared. I wouldn’t and will not cut my pup without a guard on since I’ve experienced it. It’s not comfortable but didn’t get hot enough for a 1st degree burn, but it was hot enough I flinched back after touching it when I cleaned it.Overall I’m satisfied. Hopefully in 6-8 weeks I’ll be just a pleased with his next cut.Before is him on the bed… after is him standing up. It took 3/4 of a 13 gallon trash bag for his hair. There was a lot.

Nice clippers but they didn’t work at all on my super curly doodle! I kept it for my Shih Tzu!
