Bella Bellfuries
I've only listened to this once but that's all anyone will need to know the Bellfuries have crafted an absolute gem this time. This record achieves the perfect balance between the neo-traditionalism they mastered on their first album and the various early 60's influences they have been incorporating into their music ever since. The end results sounds like the Everly Brothers, backed by a rockabilly trio, jamming on early Brit Invasion tunes. Strange as that may sound, these tunes are very hard not to like and their appeal should not limited to the retro crowd (although the retro crowd WILL LOVE THIS). In fact, this would be the perfect summer sound track for almost any occasion/location...too bad they didn't release it a few months earlier! Regardless, it's never a bad time to inject some pure fun into your life and this music will do just that...I personally think this is their best album by a mile...it's great to have the Bellfuries back.

A great album from a seriously talented Austin-based band
Absolutely adore this record! Great production with clear vocals from a dude that can really sing, good jangly guitar, lovely thumpy bass (but not generic rockabilly thumpy), nice drum sound too. Bellfuries also write great lyrics. Not your standard girl & car crap. I have listened to this 100 times already. Also a great representation of how they sound live. I have been lucky enough to see this band several times and they never disappoint.

A whole new level of rockabilly!
This is a great record! Great songs and superb songwriting. In my opinion these guys are the cream of the crop in the rockabilly genre when it comes to lyrics and songwriting. Also a great record for purchasing on vinyl because all the songs are good. No filler which makes it a great record to put on and listen to the whole thing.

Great new 'old sound' ! ! !
If you mixed the sound of Train, Chris Isaac, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and Gene Vincent, this is what you'd hear. If you're old, it'll take you back. If you're young, you'll get hooked on the rockabilly sound and get some of the Eddie Cochran and Buddy Holly sounds from long ago. This album makes you feel good!!!

Modern Rockabilly/Retrobilly
Absolutely fantastic - had this on for 4 hours when I got it! Great songs, mostly written by Joey Simeone, produced by Jimmy Sutton. Definitely addicted to this band at the moment. Beaumont Blues is my favourite track. If you like JD McPherson, you'll like these.

Fantastic album but previous is more to my tasting
The Bellfuriers have again worked hard and produced a fantastic album, it’s a slightly more ‘poppier’ attempt which sways towards general rock and roll but that’s by no way a bad thing. It produces some great numbers such as ‘Beaumont Blues’ and the catchy ‘Bad Seed Sown’. 4 star down to personal taste but even that’s being very critical.

Great band. Toned down on the rockin stuff but good easy listening. I describe this as California type upbeat country. Very good musicians

Blinder of an album
Absolutely brilliant album, hadn't heard much of them before but brought it on a whim as it was recommended. So glad I did, couldn't be happier with it.
