Oakley Men's Light Patrol Tactical Boots

I walk 16 miles every day at work, and after swapping out the original insoles, these Oakley Light Patrol boots became exactly what I needed. With better insoles, they’re super comfortable, lightweight, and supportive—perfect for long shifts on your feet. The fit is true to size, and they didn’t take long to break in. The breathability is surprisingly good for tactical boots, and the grip and durability have been rock solid so far. At the $100 price, these are a fantastic deal. Just know you may want to upgrade the insoles for maximum comfort—once you do, they’re pretty much perfect.

I've been wearing these Oakley lightweight tactical boots for a couple of months now, and they've quickly become my go-to footwear for the gym and occasional trail walks. I was specifically looking for a minimalist boot that offered ankle support without the bulk of traditional boots, and these checked every box. The key for me was finding something with adequate padding along the plantar fascia, and these deliver exactly that. The construction is impressively light while still feeling durable, with leather-reinforced toes and lacing points that add strength where it counts. The rubber sole provides good traction without being overly thick, and the padding hits that sweet spot—enough cushioning for comfort but not so much that you feel weighed down. These boots are totally acceptable at the gym, which was a major concern. They're a huge step up from showing up in actual work boots, and they provide the ankle stability I need for lateral movements and lifting. That said, they're not designed for heavy-duty protection—don't expect them to save your toes from dropped weights or serious hiking. But for flexibility, comfort, and functional ankle support? They're perfect. If you're looking for a versatile, lightweight tactical boot that bridges the gap between athletic shoes and traditional boots, these Oakleys are an excellent choice. These are top notch. Study and durable, highly recommend if you are in law enforcement. My father has been in for over two decades. Military then straight into law enforcement. So you know are bodies are jacked up. Same with myself, Military straight into law enforcement. Back and ankles are my enemy now. These are so light as if you are walking on air. keeps your feet warm and dry. Once again nothing like military C*** that was issued to wear. These are great quality!

I didn’t think I would absolutely love these boots as much as I do. They’re incredibly soft and light. Omgosh, they are so lightweight, and I almost feel like I don’t have any boots on. Then the tough test came, and I had to wear them in the rain and the mud, which I absolutely hated because I knew that it was going to ruin them. Then, after they dried, I went ahead and tried to clean them off, and the mud came off of the material except the leather part. So I’m ordering another pair today, so if I had one complaint, I would complain about them not keeping the color longer than two months.

These boots are winners for me. I wear a women’s size 8.5 and I bought these in 7.5 and they fit great. I’m very picky about boots and I have claustrophobic feet (haha) where if I have a boot on that has too much padding, all I can think about is how trapped I feel. I tried a LOT of boots, all the big name brands for duty boots and even doc martens and sent them all back. I ordered these Oakleys and a pair of Belleville jungle boots and while the bellevilles were good, these felt better. They’re light as feathers, give me good stability with the sole and are great for hot weather. The upper part seems flimsy as it is all nylon but I wanted a minimalist type boot so that’s what this is. Because of the floppiness of the boot top, putting these on while standing (like when I’m rushing out the door to work) is difficult. That is the only downside to these boots but the comfort and lightness make up for it. I haven’t worn them in cold weather and don’t plan on doing so as I doubt they’d be good for the colder months but for 12 hour shifts in sultry hot NJ summers, these are fantastic. I’ll buy them again when these wear out.

These are absolutely terrible. Please do not buy these I beg you. I don’t do review like this often if ever! I wouldn’t spend 10 dollars on these. The quality and fit is so poor. I bought two pair to try. Both horrendous. The price to quality is outrageous. If you bought these please return them. If this is the quality of a product this company puts out then I will never buy a single one of their products again. DO NOT SETTLE FOR THIS QUALITY. I can’t stress this enough. Do not buy these!!! There is a tiny once of real leather and it’s not even in a good spot or quality itself. The rest is either dirt cheap fake leather that is sharp and uncomfortable or super thin flimsy canvas. Even the laces feel cheap! Do not buy. Never buy. Do not let a company get away with this robbery or your time, money and resources.

This is the 2nd pair of these I've owned. 1 Si in Black and 1 pair in Coyote for work. I've worn the coyotes for almost 2 years daily for work. No issues, comfortable for hot day, 12+ hours in TacMed scenario based trainings. Soles do wear a little faster than heavier boots but for the weight it's worth it. These feel like New Balance All Terrian with better soles, heavier impact resistance and as easy to climb a fence/wall. Also in jeans these kinda have an AF1 look to the.. I wish the price was better but honestly well worth the money. I've worn cheaper boots doing site medical 10+ hour days up and down steps, climbing over stuff all day. The cheaper boots my feet felt like hell. These and Coyote pair I have break in with a day or 2 of wear like boots I've had for a year. Well worth the money if you're looking for lighter weight boots that still give support and agility. I will definitely be buying again.

When first purchased I found them to be one of the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever tried on. That said, for a boot it is also one of the most nicely designed/aesthetically pleasing available on the market. The problem was that the soles were too hard, having virtually no cushioning, but more concerning was that the bottom of the tongue would chafe against the top of my foot. Yes, it was painful, and there was some blistering. The easy solution was to add gel insoles and but the more difficult one was to stretch the front end of the boots. After about a week of stretching they became much more comfortable. Right now it's one of my favourite boots.
