Stance
Seems to work very well, easy to maintain upright stance rather than bending forward with a regular stick. Very easy to put together and fold with a good, comfortable grip.

Heavier than a normal walking stick.
I have osteoporosis which has caused curvature of my spine, plus I have sciatica and really struggle to walk. I saw this and thought I'd give it a go. I've been using an ordinary walking stick and I'm finding this one very heavy in comparison. (I'm 5ft 6, weigh 7 stone 12 and have got weak muscles through being unable to exercise.) The stick will stand up on its own, but only if the floor is absolutely level. If you can't bend down without causing yourself pain, as I can't, I wouldn't recommend standing it up without leaning it against something sturdy. Be careful when you're using this stick as it's very easy to tread or even trip on the furrel. On the plus side, it is helping me to stand up straighter when I walk which lessens the pain on my back. I can feel my spine kind of stretching when I'm using it. Unfortunately I'm unable to walk any further than I did before using this because of my very painful sciatica. I will definitely recommend it next time I see my osteopath.

Stand tall and straight looking forward.
Brilliant for all terrains, keeps you straighter than a walking stick and far more steadying. No hunching over I’m 5’ 7” and found when I need to use it ever fails. Even my Gp was going to buy her father one ! After seeing me use it.

Not easy to use if you have arthritis in thumb/wrist
Not easy to use if you have arthritis in your wrist. Easy to assemble wobbles slightly when standing it alone when not in use. Would not buy again.

Uncomfortable for me
I found this very uncomfortable to use, not sure if I was using it wrong but I felt I had no where to comfortably hold the stick and support my weight through it when unneeded to, rather it’s more off a speed walking pole. Not sure if I can return this as I’ve used it, but I’ll try.

The sticks because you have a bad back not bad knees
Brilliant is all i can say. My problem is with my spine and walking with standard sticks just means one is leant over, when upright posture is soooo much more comfortable. First sticks I have found that not only don't look like walking sticks, more like walking poles, that hold one upright and and straighten the spine reducing pain and improving mobility. Personally I am happy with the feet, no idea what the claim about them standing up is, like all sticks you have to lean them on something when not in use, but I have bought some standard ferrules to carry in case of one breaking - but then I also bought a spare stick so maybe I am just into insurance. Woudn't want to be without them.
