I first fell in love with this conditioner (shampoo and body wash) because I loved the way it smelled! I was upset with myself for not purchasing it when staying at the Mariot in San Antionio and finally found it here and on eBay.I've had thin, fine hair for years and am very particular about the shampoo and conditioner I use. After using these products for four months my hair has become thicker then it has since being pregnant - I am thrilled!! I read the ylang yllang and rosemary were supposed to cause hair to grow but I honestly didn't believe it - I bought the product bc of the lovely smell - well, I'm a believer now!!!

Aromatherapy associate products are always of the highest quality and I would recommend them to anyone. I think the problem here is with the seller. The bottle arrived in good time but, there was no spout on top, it looked like it was broken off but, no piece of the top was in the box so, I'm thinking it was already broken when it went in the box. It smelled a little off, I did a comparison with bottle I had which was almost empty and something is not right here. I will be sending this back. The seller was Beauty in Focus.

I'd recommend against using this if you have curly hair. It says it's for all hair types but it's really not. My hair is naturally fine, wavy to cork screw curly and this made it straighten with the same process I use with a much cheaper brand shampoo which is designed for curly hair. I had discovered this brand while staying in a JW Marriott and I loved it at the time. I'm not convinced this was the same stuff and if it was, perhaps there was something different about my experience at the Marriott that made the conditioner work better there.The smell isn't something I was a fan of either though it was better than the shampoo smell. I was willing to get used to it if it worked. Guess I don't have to worry about that now!Whatever the case, I'd recommend not using this on curly hair, I suspect it's great for other hair types. I'd check out the Deva curl stuff if you have curly hair. It's what my stylist recommends and uses in my hair. For anyone else who has to deal with gluten issues and curly hair, the Deva line now has g-free (I'm not affiliated with Deva, I've heard a lot about them from my amazing stylist due to my hair type, guess I should have listened to her :/). This conditioner is just not the one to use every day. It doesn't leave a film behind but also doesn't condition my dry hair to the level it needs. The aromatic quality is very good. It is a good conditioner, but not the one for me.

The shampoo and condition is great, as it makes hair thick, shiny, and healthy (also my scalp loves it). However, THIS IS NOT THE SAME SMELL USED BY DOUBLE TREE-HILTON. Others have posted that this is the same as the Marriott (I cannot vouch for this). I fell in love with the Hilton version. After ordering this bottle, I thought it smelled a little too much like Murphy's Oil Soap (with undertones of the smell used by the one I found in Hilton hotels, see below). I am giving it four stars because it is a great shampoo and conditioner. I am just not crazy about the smell on this one.If you are looking for the one used by DoubleTree-Hiltons (specifically Fort Lauderdale), I have found it for my fellow US residents. This is a new line made by Aromatherapy Associates, but is called Aroma Actives (aromaactives.com). Currently, it is not offered online. However, I called the company directly (the number can be found in the contact us section of either website: aromatherapyassociates.com OR aromaactives.com) and talked to the nicest representative in Fresno,TX. It sells for $18 for 200mL and was shipped very quickly. I can vouch for this one because I kept a bottle from my Hilton stay and compared it in a non-scientific sniff test.

I received the hotel sized at the Essex House in Manhattan and fell in love because of how soft my hair was and the wonderful natural scent. however when I bought the full sized bottle it smelled like harsh chemicals and left my hair hard. Would not recommend.
