This will be your new bsf of the flashlights
You Could actually 4 settings Dim, Dimmer , BRIGHTER , SOS Really Really Worth Your Buck with the charger in your pocket , WEIGHS MODERATE , and TACKLES THE ROUGH DIRT and Rain and still works and dropped a cliff over work and still works the durability is crazy good and only press of a button does the job so it’s an ease to press during a heavy storm and still easy to use

Industrial quality
This is my second Strion with the C4 LED. My first one was the model without the bell housing and I thought my kids lost it a year ago. Now recently we've found my old one so now I have 2. I'll compare this to my other one and also review the features common to both. This unit is incrementally brighter than the streamlined version. Both units put out an incredible amount of light compared to any previous technology. The C4 LED has proven itself to be very dependable and durable and doesn't produce a lot of heat which I also like. The beam pattern on these typically is comprised of a bright core surrounded by a dimmer circular ancillary area. Compared to the streamlined version this model's beam has a narrower core which is noticeably brighter than the streamlined model. The remainder of the beam pattern for both models is comparable. When holstered (which is an optional accessory) this unit feels much bulkier than the streamlined version. The bell of this unit will stick out quite a bit from your side which could be an issue. Note the bell is less than 2" in diameter so it's not like you have a full size Maglight on your hip. It's just twice the diameter of the streamlined version. The batteries used in these are lithium ion based and I love them. The one I lost still had a decent charge after being unused & uncharged for a year. So over time these batteries will not discharge near as much as older technologies. After a full discharge plan on around 2-3 hours to recharge completely. Even at the brightest settings these flashlights will run a long time. Operation is very simple. The unit has a button at the very back used to control all of it's functions. With a solid press the unit is ON. With a light press the unit is momentarily ON. Once ON you can hold the button and the flashlight will cycle through 3 brightness settings. You simply release the button when the desired brightness setting is active to keep it. Once ON you can rapidly press the button 2 times and strobe mode will be activated. Note that when turned off the unit will not remember the last setting and will default to it's brightest setting when turned on again. The lens is plastic, the body is aluminum, and the button is rubber. All parts are high quality. The fit & finish are on the money.

Our favorite light.
Bought this as a replacement was our favorite light which we accidentally broke, (our fault). Love the function of being able to partially push the power button to quickly use for a moment of light. The light will overwhelm anyone who’s face u point it at. And the strobe is intense. One thing I do not care for is the charger and the indicator light. The charger is designed to be mounted on the wall. Therefor meant to hold the light. When you place the light in the charger, the indicator light is solid when charging and blinking when full. So when the light is sitting there in the mount longer and fully charged the light is constantly blinking. I rather it be solid when full, making it less distracting and easy to find in the dark. But that’s a minor thing. I tend to not leave it in the charger for that reason. Other than that it’s our number 1 favorite light, and we love a good flashlight.

Bringing daylight to nighttime caves of darkness....
While walking my dog after dark, especially with the days getting shorter, this light illuminates the shadows and darker with blue white light, turning nighttime shadows into daylight, almost. I have Streamlight flashlights from 20 years ago, loosely known as Cop lights. Charge times on those are ridiculously long compared to this flashlight at three hours. This light has several lighting forms to disburse, dim, medium and blazingly bright (not necessarily in that order) plus a strobe light effect allowing a motorist to know there's something ahead to be mindful of. I can see up to two blocks away, in the shadows clear enough to distinguish if there are people in the shadows. Full moon flooding the night around you? This light opens up the shadows in a full moon. Street lights on? This light puts the usual sodium vapor lighting still in small towns to shame, out shines them and cuts a wide swath of peripheral light to boot. With a claimed two hour continuous run time it out preforms the old Streamlights I have right out of the box. The old lights had only an hour run time at best. If you're in need of almost pure, blue white daylight from your flashlight, are out nightly (no matter the size of town or other living areas) this is the light to have. Get it now and don't wait. Yes it's not cheap, but what value do you place on near indestructible, high intensity blue white light? I found that pushing the charging converter wire connector onto the charging cradle very difficult but I blame arthritis for that. The three hour charge time is such a plus from the old lights plus the light output on this new light a win-win situation all around. This light had a tail switch rather than a barrel switch which, for some may be a deal breaker. Others will find it of use in tactical situations or just being safe.

Good flashlight
Good flashlight, A little cumbersome due to the large parabolic dish; especially to wear in your waist and sit down. However the large reach of length of the light output will not be a disappointment. About half lighter than the other streamlights like the stinger and hp stinger but all three have similar results. The battery life in the continuous on-function in the max beam the will only last about an hour.

Ive owned a stream light (previous version) for over 9 years. Its held up to daily use and in very cold climates. I bought this one as the old one is not ready to be retired, but i needed something with a better throw. This light has not dissappinted. Incredible beam strength. Noticeably brighter and longer beam than my colligues lights (pelican/surefire etc). But it is over powered and wouldnt make a good light for searching confined spaces as the lense cone is a little on the large side. But it sure served its purpose lighting up a forest while lookong for a stolen vehicle the other night. I give 5 stars. Note it does suffer from the stream light low battery syndrom where it doesnt have a warning about low battery. It just shuts off.

Really nice light. On the high setting it is so bright you can see the bones in your hand... The only thing that would make it better, is if it remembered what setting you had it on last, instead of full bright every time.

This is a awesome light... first off the Amazon description says max 160 lumens but really it's the 615 lumen version and 160 lumens is the low mode. Really light weight and a great throw it's really almost the perfect flashlight
