The original 7 Wonders: Duel is a great game, among my favorite 2-player games. However, after a dozen or so playthroughs the original game becomes a bit repetitive and leaves an experienced player wanting a bit more. The Pantheon Expansion delivers. All of the new mechanics are well-designed and fun to play. The expansion gives the player several new options that add an entirely new dimension of strategy to the game. I've found the expanded game has considerably more staying power than the original, mostly because it's more dynamic and complex, giving an experienced player considerably more to think about. The expansion involves a lot of new rules and significant set-up time, which could be a bit of an obstacle for new players. Also, the addition of new options and powers tends to inure to the benefit of advanced players, causing margins of victory to be larger in the expansion than in the original. But that's also what I think makes the expansion more challenging, rewarding, and fun. I recommend getting acquainted with the original game first, but the expansion is a great improvement. This is one of my favorite games. Very highly recommended.

Very good expansion, worth it to make 7 Wonders Duel a lot more replayable and to improve the endgame so it does not feel so predetermined after the first few plays

Great addon game!

My wife and I play Pantheon weekly. After extensive play of the base game we discovered the Pantheon expansion and are very much enjoying the added layers of god-play. This introduces a 3rd action that provides completely different strategies and pacing compared to the base game. Simply being able to "skip" a card-draw to play a god can have significant impact on your age-pathing (denying opponent card or ensuring you get a card). The wonder-god combos are super fun. I will say that ANUBIS+TEMPLE is seemingly OP but still super fun (2 turns + 24g is prettttyyy strong).

Not a quick game to learn but once you understand the rules, this game and its expansions are phenomenal. Multiple ways to win, varying game play, highly strategic 2 player (only) game. It can be as quick as 15 minutes or as long as an hour. Suitable for teen and older.

My wife surprised me with this game. I love the multiple win conditions and it is perfect for two players. Our win rate is split pretty evenly so I feel like it is a fair game. We liked it so much we even bought an expansion! Easily one of our favorites to play!

Good expansion. Love it. Shipment was fast but bad. My product was damaged. Inside the box, cards were fine.

7 Wonders Duel is a great game by itself but this Pantheon Expansion takes it to another level! Having played both with the expansion and without it a number of times each, I’m pretty sure it’s coming out every time I play it from now on. Easy to set up and play and adds another dimension to the game play with no fuss. Great addition. Buy it - you won’t regret it.

Super jeu, super extension. Cette extension apporte une autre dimension au jeu DUEL qui au bout de 50 parties peut commencer à être un peu prévisible. Je recommande !

Ich spiele 7 Wonders Duel immer mit meinem Freund. Seit langem gewinnt er nur noch 😥 Durch die Erweiterung habe ich auch mal einen Hauch einer Chance. 7 Wonders Duel ist an sich schon ein sehr großartiges Spiel und diese Erweiterung fügt dem ganzen das Göttliche hinzu. Man hat jetzt mehr Auswahl im Spielzug und auch eine bessere Chance durch Forschung oder Militär zu gewinnen (also schön aufpassen). Schade finde ich, dass die Gildenkarten ersetzt werden. Es ist auf jeden Fall eine super Erweiterung und für alle 7 Wonders Duel Spieler.

Great expansion and can be used with the agora expansion as well to expand the game even more. Really interesting use of the game to have purchasing a deity as an action. Really enjoyable expansion and had loads of fun using this with Agora as well.
