Polishes rust off chrome
I've used this Turtle Wax Chrome Polish and Rust Remover before, and I was really hoping it wasn't reformulated, which it wasn't. I used it to polish rust off of my 1969 Chevelle's bumper. I dribbled the product in small amounts on sections of rust, then rubbed it in with a clump of fine steel wool, and then wiped the residue with a clean cloth. I can assure you , if you keep reapplying and rubbing, you'll get better results. It isn't magic, the rust on my bumper left some faded dark stains where the worst rust was. And like i said, I did this process maybe 20 years ago, so, being in the weather, the rust will come back, but we're talking a long time without reapplying in harsh texas weather. After this last time I polished my bumper, a coworker asked "Is that a new bumper!?" . It's a good product, I will buy again, and do recommend it.

Works Perfect
There may be other polishes out there but I have always liked this the best for chrome. Works as always has.

Fabulous!
I recently purchased a pre-owned, certified vehicle. I noticed a little rust on the inside door jam. Used this product and POOF....rust gone....YAY! The chrome gets water spots on it easily and this product instantly makes the chrome look amazing. So glad I found and purchased this product.

Works great
This stuff works pretty well. It was able to remove the beginnings of rust from my Corvette's chrome wheels. Now they look good as new. It's suggested to write about the smell - what's to say? It smells good to me.

Used it to clean the chrome on a vintage chair, and it beat other products
I ordered a vintage chair/step stool, and I could tell from the pictures online that it had some significant staining and rust on the chrome legs. So, before the chair ever got here, I ordered a couple of products to clean it with, this Turtle Wax product and Rustoleum spray gel rust remover. The Rustoleum product was messy to use, caustic to skin, had to sit on the rust for a while, and honestly didn’t seem to make that much difference on the worst rust spots. Rubbing the Turtle Wax polish and rust remover on with a soft cloth removed most surface stains immediately. Working the more tenacious rust spots harder removed most of the smaller ones until they were barely noticeable. For larger, more aggressive rust I put the Turtle Wax product on extra fine steel wool and that took care of those. After cleaning with this product you have to wipe it down with a clean cloth to get the best shine, and I’m very happy with how it turned out. Short of getting the chair re-chromed, which would be very expensive, I feel like I got the best results possible with this product.Note on the photos I’m including: the first photo is of two of the chair legs side by side, one I’d given a pretty quick wipe-down with this product and one that’s untouched. The rest are just the finished product.

More of a Polish than Rust Remover
This product did not perform very well at all as a rust remover. Probably works well as a polish on good or barely rusted chrome. But helping clean up a more rusted piece of chrome is out of the question.
