Great use!
These fans were amazing! We used them for a few parties in the summer and they helped keep the flies away. They also looked very cool and were easy to use plus a good price.

Quality Strike Plate
Sturdy and thick gauge plate. Great size for me as my door alignment changes due to the house shifting between seasons. Chamfered screw holes. Easy installation. Decent value.

GREAT product
GREAT product if you have a door that moves with season a bit out of the alignment. I highly recommend. It is also really heavy duty compared to average plate

Good, But Not Perfect
The metal seems sufficiently strong for residential use, and installation was straight-forward. It will certainly help the front door on my mobile home which tends to rise or fall based on the season and amount of rainfall. The extra long slot allows about 1" total vertical movement of the door so that the lockset and dead bolt still align with the strike plate. This should address any foreseeable vertical movement. However, I found the slot was too narrow for the dead bolt, and barely wide enough for door latch bolt. My solution was to remove the narrow portion, opposite the the curved portion of the latch plate. I don't think I compromised the strength of the plate by this adjustment, but it did add another task to the installation. I also used 2" screws to provide additional security of the strike plates to door frame.

Perfect remedy
Had to reverse a door from opening into a small bathroom to opening out of the room, allowing us to add a cabinet around the sink for much needed storage. The existing latch stuck out too far from the door frame causing several injuries and snagged clothes. This is the perfect remedy.

These work very well, no nicks, bends, or burrs
These are well-made, it seems. Obviously they are huge compared to normal strike plates, but they are an easy install with a router bit or a good thin chisel. I've replaced strike plates on two doors that have seasonal shifting, and I'm about to order more for other doors. This is NOT a good strike plate for a bolt. You would need a strike plate with additional features for bolts. But these are great for knob latches. If installing alongside a bolt, be aware of heights, you may need a double-strike-plate.

Some adjustments were required
Solid piece, the original broke off and I selected this one. Used my dewalt oscillator to cut the recess and fit this in. It’s very solid and the door closes properly now.
