Podcast equipment my husband just started his own podcast and he was looking for her equipment that was great for beginners and very easy to use this is got excellent sound quality well worth the money this is great for beginners or somebody that wants to start their own podcast

Update: The company read my review and reached out to me. They provided an acceptable solution making a bad situation right. Any company can have a defective product slip through quality control, however what they do to make a customer happy can make all the difference. Bravo to the seller for taking customer service seriously and making amends. This is the first time I have purchased something like this. I am starting a podcast and thought this would be a good entry level product. However, it just didn’t sound right. Pros: -The unit is very well laid out and the enclosed instructions were helpful. -Lots of great features with sound enhancements, effects, good size adjustments dials, and more. -Was well packaged and undamaged. Cons: -I experienced bad sound from the microphone immediately. There was a weird electronic buzz that I could not get rid of. No matter how I tried, I just couldn’t get a clean sound from the board. -If I touched the microphone at all, it caused a loud sound and screech. This is usually a ground/power issues I believe. Not good as at times I will touch the mic while recording. -Unfortunately the mic stand is way too short for my needs. I have an average height desk and I had to bend way over to use it with this stand. I did try it in my boom arm and that was better. Conclusion I really didn’t get a chance to put this through a full test because I just couldn’t get either mic input to record without the bad buzzing and sound quality was poor. I compared by plugging in an inexpensive usb microphone directly to my computer and the sound from that was much better than using this board and mic. Definitely disappointed as this was a birthday gift to get me started into podcasting. I also wrote a novella that I want to record as an audio book with a friend who does it professionally, but this won’t do.

We had to send back the first one, the cheap mic stand broke immediately. Bought it on prime day and for the money, it's not bad. The mic is decent, the sound bits they say you can record does not work. Tried reviewing videos on what to do and it appears other people had the same problem. Update, customer service reached out to me and gave me some tips in regard to the mic. It did help. They are also sending me an advanced podcast bundle at no charge. I am looking forward to receiving it. This is why I've updated my star rating to 5 stars, customer service means everything.

Very pleased with this product... comes with headset all the cables you will need. Very easy to set up. I am a plug and play type of gut and this was very easy to set up and use. EVERYTHING WORKS!. Love the preset sound effects, also you can add up to 4... As I added the rimshot. I wish it came with a suspension Mike holder the little tripod just doesn't work well as it is to short. Other then that the main components of the system works exactly as described. Billy

My two biggest complaints with this kit are: 1) The recording volume is so low that even at its maximum settings my voice (podcasting) can barely be heard on playback, which is why I gave the device no stars at all for sound quality, and 2) while set-up is very straightforward, there are no real instructions on how to use various features on the device.

“Love the mixer. Appreciate all the equipment. That being said, ONE DAY after using the equipment, the mic goes out. I know it’s not operator error. It’s the mic. Sad.. I appreciate the business, but what I do not appreciate is the quality”. I left this message to show my honest disdain at first. That being said, customer service reached out to me promptly and corrected all mishaps! Replaced the mic free of charge and was absolutely cordial. A simple email goes a million miles. Meant a lot to me. I corrected the “star” rating as they corrected their mistakes. This is a great product! Thanks again team!

Decent for price range, seems to work fine on PC, I do notice every now and then the power randomly turns off, no big deal- unless in the middle of a cast or meeting (which happened several times), headphones broke right away, plastic brittle. Other than that pretty good for the price I paid, almost half off on prime day. Update: after 7 months of using, the whole unit turns off while casting or meeting. The mic cable if moved has loud crackling while monitoring. Cannot plug in listen ports, just loud feedback. Lowering to 2 star.
