This coffee is my favorite. I have been drinking it for many years. I have drunk many before, but in the end I still like this one the most.

This Blue Bottle dark roast espresso is outstanding! The beans are fresh and aromatic right out of the bag. Once ground and brewed, they deliver a deep, rich flavor with smooth chocolatey notes and zero bitterness. It makes an excellent shot of espresso and also holds up beautifully in lattes or cappuccinos.I also appreciate that it's organic and ethically sourced — it makes the coffee experience feel even better. If you love strong, smooth espresso, this is absolutely worth the price.

My favorite bean for espresso! I use this in a Breville Bambino along with an Oxo grinder to make killer espresso. The flavor on this is as advertised, love the blueberry and raisin notes. Try it in an iced latte, or in an Americano.

I was hoping for these coffee beans to live up to the advertisement but unfortunately was disappointed. The overly sour taste after making a cappuccino with these beans was almost unbearable to my taste buds. The cappuccino despite my years of coffee making was difficult to force down. Again, the dominant taste is a very acrid sour. But to be fair, this has been the case with almost every brand of coffee in the last two years or so. From my taste, it seems that coffee plantations have been harvesting their beans these past two or so years when they are overly green, that is, unripe, as opposed to when they are at least beginning to turn red, the ripe stage (called "Selecto", i.e. "select", when only red beans are harvested). My uncle was a coffee plantation inspector and his father, my paternal grandfather, owned a coffee farm. I've handpicked "Selecto" beans since a kid, sun roasted them, hand ground them, and prepared some of the tastiest coffee in the world. So I know great coffee when I taste it. This coffee certainly wasn't.

Espresso roast was great for our morning drip coffee. Smooth.
