Lodge SCRAPERDX Deluxe Pan Scraper, Silicone, Black

I picked up the Lodge Deluxe Pan Scraper mainly for my cast iron pans, and it’s turned out to be one of those simple tools I reach for all the time. It’s sturdy enough to scrape off stuck food without messing up the seasoning, which was my biggest concern. The different edges are actually useful — I didn’t think I’d care, but they make it easier to get around the curved sides of a skillet and into corners where food tends to stick. It’s small, but comfortable to hold, and easy to rinse clean after use. I’ve used it on cast iron, carbon steel, and even baking sheets, and it’s held up well so far with no cracking or warping. There’s nothing flashy about it, but it works exactly as intended and makes cleanup faster. For the price, it’s a solid little tool to have around, especially if you cook with cast iron regularly.

This helps to scrape off so much of stuck on food!! The curve of the scraper is the perfect fit for the edges of the pan to ensure no food is left on. I also love the double functionality of having the grill scraper on it, too!

Been getting into the whole cast iron cooking over past 2 years & only thing that I dread is clean-up of the big bad pan. This scraper is angled & curved perfectly for my Lodge 12-inch cast iron pan, makes clean-up so much easier. There's also a small handled brush with nylon bristles I use in conjunction with this scraper & the pan cleaning has never been so easy. Yes it's still a PITA to clean the heavy pan & lid, but the flavor you get with a cast iron pan is 2nd to none... totally worth the effort.
