Three Headed Security LED light, Motion Sensor Activated Flood Light - bronze - Waterproof 5000K kelvin daylight, 3090 Lumens bright

7/23/17 update - All lights work as expected, no leaks, burn outs or problems. I moved the rating from 4 star to 5 star with the caveat being the lousy installation manual.I just installed three of these lights on the back of my house after getting the house re-sided and replacing three 20+ year old Radio Shack incandescent fixtures. I can comment most accurately on the build quality, installation issues and initial setup.Pro- Out of the box, these lights are substantial and appear well built.- The fit and finish is excellent- Installation has a learning curve and every situation will vary. In my case, I was using new vinyl siding blocks. Light 1 was 45 minutes, light 2 was 40 minutes and light three took about 30 minutes- Very bright, adjustable heads with three levels of adjustment- Easy to adjust the actual light and sensor heads (the Lux, time and sensitivity are NOT easy).- Can be mounted on a sidewall or from an underhangCon -- The instruction manual is close to worthless. I could tell it was written by someone in China who had English as second or even third language.- It's difficult to read the three adjustment buttons after the unit is mounted. It's all dark bronze and I could not tell if I was turning the controls higher or lower. Mine were turning on in the daytime and I read the other Amazon reviewers comments which were FAR more helpful than the instructions.- The instructions say you need a regular and slot screwdriver as the only tools. Uh no. I needed lineman pliers, wire strippers (see the last point) a sharp knife (I wound up using a multitool) to cut out the siding block, longer mounting screws than supplied, a pencil to mark the outline of the bracket to cut the siding block and about 12 inches of 14 gauge wire to lengthen the wire pigtails to either get them behind the siding block or inside the limited space inside the light cover.- The infinitely adjustable time, Lux and Sensitivity controls are challenging. It would be great to have a "test" button9/11/16 update - I got all three new lights installed and once I figured out how to adjust the settings and the sensitivity, they work well. Wide detection angle, bright lights, well made. We shall see how they respond to winter weather, windy with trees in the yard and heavy snow fall. More to come.....OK, so with all the "con" comments, why a 4 star rating? I like the quality of the fixtures, they are uber-bright, the heads are easy to adjust, mounting fixtures #2 &# 3 was a LOT faster than fixture #1. I think once I get them dialed in, they will work fine and while the quality is excellent, the quirks and bad instructions knock off one star (or maybe more - time will tell). More to come as I gain experience with these lights.

This LED motion sensor flood light was installed as instructed by directions. When I attempted to adjust the distance of the motion sensor I found that it would only detect motion and activate approximately 7 feet. The motion sensor range was advertised to exceed this range of motion. I first called Amazon. com where I purchased this light and they referred me to the manufacture of the light Sunco. I called Sunco and explained my situation and was informed that even though this light has a 5 year manufactures warranty and because they have discontinued this light I would have to return it to the manufacture at my expense. Once they receive the light fixture they will decide if they would refund my purchase price or not. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!! If you choose to purchase items from Sunco be advised the warranty does not protect you as you may have thought!!! It's also regrettable that my confidence in Amazon as an online shopper thinking they would help with these kind of situations gone. They are very eager to help only IF there is not really a problem!!!!!

They are certainly bright. For some reason they only trigger in the daylight and refuse to light with the motionsensor operating at night. I would give them a higher rating if someone can help me with this issue.Thanks.

The light is nice and solid and lights up a large area very nicely. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because I wanted to use it with a light switch for instant on/off applications like I have with other motion lights and it doesn't like that. There is a delay after turning the switch on before the light can react and, even then, it still requires motion to light up. That aspect is kind of annoying and I've thought about bypassing the motion detector but I've been learning to adjust as it is.

Easy install, good heavy quality. Light is bright and everything works perfect for me. Would have liked a little longer range on the motion sensor, but does the job and looks great too. Balancing everything to your specifications may take a little time but we'll worth it. I need six more for the perimeter of my home but will wait to see how this one works for awhile. As of now, the days later, absolutely perfect !UPDATE: There are times I want to turn on security lights and have them stay on. My old "el cheapo" lights I just had to flip the switch off then on again quickly and the lights would stay on. Unfortunately, these don't. I have downgraded from 5 strs to two for that reason. Now searching for new security lights to replace this one with that stay on feature. Will upgrade review if figure out a way to make them stay on when I want them to.
