Not the greatest fit for my 2014 Explorer Sport
I cracked the bezel around my stereo and replacements are expensive. I found this on Amazon and thought it might be a way to cover up the crack. The first photo shows the crack in the wide section above the stereo screen w/o this carbon fiber look decal attached, the second pic shows with this decal affixed. As you can see, the decal doesn't quite cover the whole bezel. It is too narrow and doesn't reach all the way to the edges. It's not even wide enough to hide the crack in my bezel, but having this decal over it will likely help keep the crack from getting worse. The cutouts in the bottom section below the stereo require positioning just right to allow the four-way blinker button as well as the CD eject button to function. Again it's not cut to a perfect fit for this but I was able to make it work. I was worried about it not sticking so I warmed up the decal (laid it on the floor heater vent in the house for a while) before installing. It seems to stick just fine. All in all, it's a nice idea, but I feel the cut could be a lot more precise. Maybe it would fit better on a different year Explorer than my 2014.
