Easy to construct, very solid when erected, quick to breakdown, clear instructions, would reccomend.
I bought this 6 months ago and only just decided to construct it, I thought it might be a bit of a long job, but how wrong was I. First time it took me about 30 minutes with no tools required to put together. Everything screws together with large wingnut fasteners, the system works very well and pulls the components together filling you with confidence. Given that I will be suspended up to 5m in the air I was worried about the stability and safety, but the concerns were unfounded its very stable and I feel very safe on it at height. Now I know how it all goes together I think I could break it down to the components in about 10-15 minutes and probably 15 mins to construct again. You could probably fit it all into a very large car (longest part was just over 2M) would certainly fit in a Van.It came very well packed in weather proof plastic, the instructions are also weatherproof and very clear to follow. The trap door at the top is a bit of a squeeze, if you were the 150kg top weight allowed you might struggle a bit.I bought the system with 2 outriggers, but decided to add two more as my garden slopes a bit, I also added some telescopic legs to account for the slight slope.Overall this is a very solid well thought out product, I would highly recommend it

perfect for home jobs
I needed to reach the upper window of our property to make some repairs and initially was looking at ladders. After reading some of the reviews for the scaffold tower I decided that working from a platform would be easier. I bought the 6M kit to make sure I had enough height, and I honestly can't fault it. For what you pay it really is a good buy. It's lightweight and durable enough for diy enthusiasts and when it's unassembled it stores away quite nicely. As others have noted, the instructions aren't up to much, but with a bit of common sense you can put it together with the photo that comes with the packaging. There is a little bit of wobble when you're at full height, which I fully expected to be honest, but the outriggers do give a feeling of overall security and I think you'd do well to actually make it go over.In short, if you like a bit of diy and are considering whether or not to buy ladders or a tower - I'd recommend the tower everytime.

Good for DIY, slightly unstable
Bought to paint 1st floor weatherboarding on 1795 converted MaltingsHeight - as describedAssembly - simple and well explained, all elements lightAccess - through the hatch, inside the tower good (once the knack of opening the hatch, climbing the frame, entering through the hatch and closing the hatch is developed anyway. Much safer than trying to reach the working platform from outside the towerMoving - easy on a hard surface, but may need partial disassembly on rough groundStability - OK with the braces fixed, but I tied off to the building. I'd recommend the optional outriggers for something approaching maximum height. And read the manual and watch the YouTube vids they do help in the assembly processPerfect for the job, right price - recommended

Good Enough for DIY
I bought the extended set so i can work at guttering level and on the upstairs windows on my two story house. This scaffolding is perfect for DIY use even on an uneven surface with care.Putting it up - well it can be fiddly and time consuming, the bolts need the nut winding off pushing through the bars and then the nut wound back on... for all the bars... remember two sets of blue and red joined at one end. From there it is just a case of grinding it out.The decks are for me at 5 foot 7 one run too high so I used a ladder to get the first deck on.I used a ladder for connecting the outrigger arms for ease of working.Climbing up to secure the wing nuts can be hard work but as each bar is put in place the tower stiffens making the top bars hard to connect. In Use - I was using this on a uneven surface so used gravel boards for two of the feet to make it level at the base.At 5 meter working this is a stable platform, a little narrow but very usable. At 7 meter working my nerves were not so good :) but the tower was stable enough for me to do guttering work actually sat on the top deck and working at chest level, if I had to be up and moving around it then the tower was not a problem just my fear of heights.Taking Down - comes down super fast as you'd expect... easy then to stack and store, but you'll need a box for the bolts and wing nuts, wheels and hooks to keep them all safe.

Looks ok but not sturdy, doesn't feel safe near to unfit for purpose
Not stable, instructions are a bit unclear, fail to see how it can be safely errected by one person. Struts don't really add to stability its all a bit flimsy, and if you have to keep the platform dry it means dismantling this which is nigh on 3 metres high. Not much room for an average person to climb up inside & the trap door is small & can easily fall back & trap your fingers. Fine if you limit work to one area but a pain if want to move it .

Good product
Good product easy to assemble . A little wobbly at top but not too bad. Certainly worth the money. Tried to order additional braces - pathetic! Like something out of fawlty towers! Got one brace and a 3 step frame. Complained .ordered 2 braces again, got one brace ( different length ) and another frame. Complained . Ordered 2 braces - they promised delivery in 3 days. 3 weeks later nothing arrived, they literally ignored me. Incredibly incompetant service. Shame as product not bad, but could organize a piss up in a brewery!
