I made two mistakes with this purchase. I bought the wrong product and I bought it from the wrong people.I failed to notice that this seller has a no-returns policy. Why Amazon allows this is a mystery. So, these people sell 18¢ worth of useless crap for $7 and still make a fortune even after Amazon takes their (large) cut.The liquid in the bottle is next to useless. I'm not going to guess what it is, but it doesn't clean any better than tap water. What makes it even more worthless is that it comes in the worst pump spray bottle ever. It simply doesn't work, and it's so cheaply made that it deforms under any pressure, making it difficult to hold. The only way to get the useless liquid out of the even more useless bottle is to unscrew the pump and pour the liquid directly onto the cleaning cloth.This is pure fraud, and they're getting away with it.

Finally, a product that cleans my lenses (Varilux) with an AR coating (Crizal)! One of the few things where I will spend extra money to get what I feel is the best product is lenses for my glasses. I have had Crizal on my lenses ever since it came out but I always struggled with getting the lenses truly clean. Using "free" products from the optician, I would always be left with some hazy streak that would really bug me. Every time I got new lenses, I would complain about how I could never get them completely clear. I would always be told "Oh, they have improved them and they don't have that problem any more." Right! Desperate for a solution, I searched Amazon and found this product! Eureka! I no longer get the streaking and my lenses are CLEAR! I emptied and rinsed out some previous solution bottles and refilled them with Ultra Clarity Lens Cleaner so I can have some handy wherever I go. What a relief!UPDATE: After I used up the bottle I went to a bottle of lens cleaner the optician gave me with my new glasses. I used it for awhile because it was free but after half a bottle I got tired of it not doing as good a job and ordered more Ultra Clarity. If there was any doubt in my mind about how great it was, there isn't any now!

I bought this to replace the eyeglass cleaner I used to purchase from Lens crafters which has left town. Yes, it contains isopropyl alcohol but most eyeglass cleaners do. It should not damage the antireflective coating of your glasses if the coating is a high quality coating. If the coating gets damaged I suggest looking for a new eye glass provider because a properly applied antireflective coating won't be damaged so easily. I have cleaned my glasses thousands of times with this type of cleaner and the coating is still good. I clean my glasses by first washing my hands then I spray my glasses and rub them with clean fingers and rinse the glasses under hot running water. If they are very greasy this usually requires I repeat this 3 or 4 times. This is the only way to get them perfectly clean. Lens Crafters cleans your glasses in an ultrasonic bath to get the last vestiges of grease off of them. If you hold your glasses up to the light you can easily see if they are really clean. Just spraying them and then wiping them off doesn't cut it for me. I will be buying this cleaner again because as far as I can tell it is identical to the cleaner I used to get at Lens Crafters.

I'm now on my second bottle of this eyeglass cleaner and it is great. I wear my glasses all the time, even when I work out, so sweat, oil, dust, etc. are always coating my glasses. I spray the cleaner directly on my glasses and wipe it off with a microfiber towel. The smudges remove easily and I'm left with crystal clear lenses. I also use this for my laptop screen. I spray a microfiber towel with the cleaner and then wipe my screen. It takes everything off the screen, leaving it looking brand new. Highly recommend!
