These locs look EXACTLY like the pics. They're real human hair, I burned the tips on one to make sure. There's absolutely zero smell. Speaking of which, none of the last few batches of locs that I've gotten have had any odors which has been awesome and almost a little surprising. They're steppin up their game when it comes to locs and I like it. I found 1 tiny piece of blue fuzz inside one but otherwise I don't see anything else that isn't supposed to be there (had that happen before too, different brand, lots of random fuzzy trashy bits in the locs). I haven't washed these locs yet and they are stiff. Not as stiff as I've seen, but not as soft as I've seen either. Other than that they're perfect. The size is good, the length, the lack of odor, they're perfect. Install shouldn't be a problem.

This hair looks nice. It is tightly loc'd and true to size. However, the hair is very stiff and feels like a Brillo pad. It is also NOT HUMAN. I did the fire test on a piece of my hair and a couple of pieces of this hair. This hair burns like synthetic hair. It melted how braided hair melts when you light it with fire. Maybe the hair the other reviewers received was human, mine was not. I would advise you to test the hair should you decide to purchase it.

I gave this product 2 stars because there’s really only two things I like about the hair. One is the thickness of the locs, they are formed perfect and two is the fact that the hair can be colored. On the flip side I DO NOT believe this is 100 percent human hair, seems like it is some sort of hard plastic material. They ITCH SO BAD, they are so uncomfortable it’s like the fibers used to fill the loc sticks out and are pokey. Real hair is soft and bendable. These locs are very hair and not like real hair. I’m disappointed because I used them as a permanent solution only to be stuck scratching my scalp and neck alll day long. Ugh
