SONSOU Universal Stereo Steering Buttons/Steering Mounted Audio Controls for Tata, Hyundai, Suzuki and Mahindra Cars

I completely loved the product. Never thought there can be something like this anywhere. I never thought i can have steering control in my swift base model but Sonsou steering control is fantastic. East to install but many can not install this by themselves they will need a mechanic for that for sure. The seller is also so prompt. I have sony XAV-68BT stereo in my car and the mechanic had refused that it could work but i called the seller he promptly advised the way to install this to my mechanic. Mechanic did the same and this thing installed successfully and working flawlessly.

The media could not be loaded. Definitely a cheap and effective solution to make use of steering wheel controls in your older generation cars with basic steering wheels. Although, as it is the case with almost all 'cheap' solutions, this too comes with some shortfalls. Let us look at those in details:First, the good things:1. Buttons look well designed and built with quality materials (plastic and rubber)2. A very responsive customer support available on WhatsAppAnd now, the not-so-great things:1. While the official videos from the seller makes the connection steps appear to be very straightforward, it is NOT necessarily that simple in all cases. I've got a Pioneer (MVH-A209VBT) in my 2010 model Dzire. Reaching out to the rear side of the audio system took a professional task. Moreover, Pioneer systems take a 3.5mm adapter cable (check the pics attached) to it's rear side for the steering wheel controls, and hence the receiver unit of this product cannot be connected to the audio system as shown in the seller's video. This 3.5mm adapter cable is neither provided with this product nor was it available in the original box of the audio system. In short, the additional cost of this cable and the fitting charges costed me an amount almost equal to the price of the product itself! So if you're using any non-Android audio systems, especially a Pioneer or a Sony, consider the additional cost of the adapter cable.2. After connecting the unit and configuring the buttons, all 10 buttons were working. Although, one of the control units (the one with the Volume and Track selection buttons) are working a bit erroneously. When I press the Volume Up button with a single press, in most cases the Volume correctly goes up by one point, but in some cases, it goes up by three points. Same happens with the Track/Channel selection button; sometimes it selects the next channel, and sometimes it scans frequencies. This is an irritant, but I chose to live with it as having to get this replaced would mean I'll have to pay twice again for fitting.Now, keep in mind that my case (about having to avail professional help for fitting NEED NOT BE yours too. Most newer cars have the audio systems which can be pulled out directly from their mounts, rather than having to dismantle the dashboard panels. Over all, the product seems pretty decent. If not for that irritant behaviour of some of those buttons, I would've given it a 4 Star.Update (01-Jun-'24)-------------------------Even though I know that these Chinese products do not come with any warranty, I wanted to try my luck with the customer care to replace the malfunctioning buttons. Customer care (on WhatsApp) surprised me by offering to send me a fresh pair of control buttons "free of cost"! Now that's what I call post-sale support!I'm pushing the rating up by one more star for this customer care experience from the seller. 😍

Good 👍 but it's not rechargeable

I have a Honda City ZX 2008 and an after market Pioneer Music system Z5290BT. Just made 3 simple wire connections of its controller box with the music system and the controller box stays in the dashboard. Thereafter, there is no wire required to be taken all the way to the steering. It’s a wireless system requiring no wiring in the steering! Simple to install! It’s controller box communicates with the buttons installed in the steering wheel wirelessly. Made holes in steering using a drill machine in 5 minutes and embedded the buttons. The blue lights are absolutely marvellous! Very good product for safety while driving. Now I can change Music settings and pick up calls without having to look at either the phone screen or the music system display! I can also use Siri and change radio stations. However before buying, please ensure that your after market Music system supports steering wheel controls.

Installed myself but the top of buttons is coming off after few days usage. It doesn't have screws or proper tightening way. Working fine.

Installed it exactly as shown in video on amazon itself. Worked correctly for first 2 days but now some buttons are not working and taking wrong input even after correct mapping. Total waste of money. There is not even product support.

The media could not be loaded. I have done installation without any mechanical help at my own. Easy to install with instructions video. I have connected wires to Maruti blue color connector shown in video. Works well. All 10 button work in my car. Thank you seller and thank you Amazon.

Product is good and value for money.Working is good.Seller should give a two inch hole making device (drilling bit) with product because I can fit it by myself but I can't found only 2 inch drilling bit in market. All sellers giving the set of all size drilling bit. Machenic also don't have 2 inch drilling bit.
