After reading the description by Simple Human I thought I would give this a try. I had previously used the sensor dispensers. I wanted something that will hold up. I was not disappointed. Build quality on the 2 units I purchased is flawless. Brushed stainless steel will hold up. All you need is a very light touch on the pulse pump to dispense exactly the amount of soap your hands need for a complete wash - I could never accomplish this with a sensor pump. This will dispense exactly the amount of soap you need consistently each and every time. Pros: No batteries (I was using 3 to 4 sets of 4 batteries per year) No corrosion No circuit boards to go bad No Messey containers No puddles of soap under the spout No sensor misfires by accidentally waiving your hand under the sensor Effortless dispensing Long lasting parts Cons: None Based on what I have seen this appears to be a one and done. This is constructed for longevity and that is what I am looking for. I hope this helps you, for me this is a no brainer.

I love this product. Expensive but worth it. Looks great with my kitchen stainless sinks and silver/black glass backsplash. It is a good weight and easy pump. You can tell it is a well made product.

It looks modern and beautiful, and it worked fine for about a year, but since then the pump won't go back up after pressing down, which is soooo annoying! We've been putting up with it for a while, but I finally couldn't take it anymore and am going to buy a simple one like our other one that we bought cheaply and has worked fine for years. I love Simple Human products, and normally would recommend them (their garbage cans are such good quality and worth the price!) but considering how expensive this pump was, I'm very disappointed in the quality...shakes my belief in the brand.

Initially bought two of these for our bathrooms. The one in our main bathroom, after 1.5 years of extensive but normal use by 2 families, had some issues with the pump mechanism (photo attached). The pump would get stuck in the down position and had some of the coating being scrapped off. Read another review with similar issues and that they used the Simple Human warranty to replace it. This is where the 5 Star comes from - registered my products on the site and you can either file for a warranty claim for the full item or just have a new pump (top part) sent out for free, no questions asked, which is what I did. I respect the company for standing behind its products like this and making the customer experience solid. Just ordered one more for the kitchen.

The pump action works so well. The pump looks nice. Very easy to refill. Seems very well built. I bought one for the kitchen sink, then ordered 2 more for the bathrooms. They are a little expensive but they seem very well made and I assume they will last a long time.

This is a great soap dispenser! I put mine in my kitchen, and it easily dispenses soap every time. It looks great too! Since it's at the kitchen sink, sometimes it gets dirty from washing dishes, but the dispenser is super easy to wipe down and keep clean. I gave it 4 stars just because I think the cost was too high, but otherwise, it's great!

We purchased this dispenser a couple of years ago and after so much use, I just wanted to leave a positive review. The dispenser has been used multiple times a day for a few years now and has proven to be without fault at all. Others we have used have either clogged up or the pump has given out. It has maintained it's finish throughout and doesn't have a blemish on it. The pump action is still as strong as it was on day one. I would highly recommend it, worth every penny.

Changing my review. After 3 years of use: soap leaks out of the top. Upon investigating, we found the metal inside the pumping mechanism to be corroded and now it won’t pump at all. A simple pump for $40 should last more than 3 years….Very disappointed.

Functions perfectly - well made, fits perfectly behind sink and dispenses perfect amount of soap

Works well enough and dispenses a consistent amount of soap. Build quality is good. The only problem that I have is the pump mechanism's reliability. After using for a little over a month, the pump mechanism started failing. So just be wary of the poor durability of the product.

Ich habe den Simplehuman Sensor Pump durch diesen pulse Pump ersetzt und bin jetzt sehr zufrieden. Kein falsches auslösen und nicht mehr aufladen. ;-)
