Keyboard Cover Skin with MAC OS Shortcut Hot Keys for 2020 MacBook Air 13 inch A2337 M1/A2179,MacBook Air 13" with Touch ID Accessories- Grey

Expensive and does not fit the U.K. keyboard very disappointed as it suggests it does.

I've been using this on my 2021 MBP 14" for several weeks, and I recently noticed that the keys' surface plastic film binds to the keyboard cover. When you take the cover off, it leaves PERMANENT blotches on the keys (pictured). On the under side of the keyboard cover, I see the corresponding blotches of plastic film that bound to it & were peeled off.I bought this keyboard cover to protect the keyboard, and ironically it has done more damage to it than if I were to not use a cover at all. This is NOT SAFE to use on the devices it is made for, and should be recalled & removed from Amazon immediately.

My photo shows the size of the words that you see from normal sitting height- way to small to read unless you lean way in. The symbols for ALT are very faint and the Mac symbol is obscured. Words and symbols for the keys such as "option" don't match up so you see a blur of both words or symbols. I tried several times to make the words line up but when one key lined up, another did not, I still like the cover though. It is sheer and stays put so far (first day).

As you can see, the keyboard was in English save for the return key. The “caps on” light didn’t align with the clearish hole in the pad, and the apostrophe/comma key had two commas. If you look closely at the photos on Amazon, this is clearly the advertised product as the photos are identical to the product I received. Perhaps they are retailing “seconds?” I don’t know…. Some poor proofreader at the factory with one job to do appeared to have an off day and blew it. Supervisors must have been away from their desks as well. It works fine for my needs but my OCD tendencies are irritated.

I spent one morning looking over those “937 Amazon products you didn’t know you needed” office videos and here we are!The overlay is perfect and it fits snug against the keyboard. The style of it looks great as well. I haven’t taken it off since I got it except to wipe it down. It’s that much of a favorite for me.I used Windows most of my life and switching to Mac has been a breeze with this skin. I’m learning the shortcuts quickly and even push myself to use them more than I did on my previous computer.Worth it!
