its a fair priced item . at a fair value brand and price .
pretty good item for the money cut quality depends on the blade you use . better quality blades are available outwith this brand .it takes a battery cell easy it does not lock up while inserting the battery which is not supplied .the battery fits nice and snug .a surprisingly good tool for the pricing .is it a good buy ? yes its not a daily use. it wont last forever . but its a fair price for what you get here .does it function ? yes it functions well . just dont run it for hours on end .its a fair item value brand and price .

Don't buy and feel like an idiot
Feel cheated because of this. There was no battery in the box. When the product is advertised as cordless battery operated, you would expect a battery included.

Not powerful.
It looks a nice saw in a good box,but it is too slow it takes to long to go through a bit of 2×2 it needs to be faster. So you need to pay a bit more and get a better one.

Great tool for its money.
Great tool for its money. As a dryliner, I use it exclusively for cutting plasterboards. It is lightweight and easy to use. Saves a lot of time. I am very satisfied with it. For heavier work, I have an original Makita.

Machine itself is fine. The blades it comes with do nothing. So get some good DeWalt ones.
Machine itself is fine, cheep and cheerful, but does the job. The blades it comes with do nothing (litterely don't cut at all!). So get some good DeWalt ones. The battery connection is quite tight, but not an issue.
