Lightweight and roomy
Love this suitcase! In the past, I've used a slightly smaller bag that was softsided nylon, with exterior pockets, which is very durable, but heavy. This one doesn't have pockets, but there's much more interior room and it's easy to pack -- being all nice and squared off, the inexpensive packing cubes work really well. It's very lightweight and it came through the airline baggage systems (round-trip!) unscathed and looking beautiful. I was leery about hardside luggage, but I'm sold now.

The Perfect Carry-On Campanian for Air Travel
When the pull-out handle stopped working on my dinosaur fabric carry-on during a recent trip to Belize, I finally realized it was time to replace it. Samsonite has always deserved the brand awareness it has earned as being a top brand in luggage. My parents always used it. Our old Samsonite hard shelled luggage never failed after years of car trips all throughout the west. This was the main reason I chose this brand. I’ve now have had 4 trips on it, and it has lived up to its reputation. The luggage is very light, yet the Polycarbonate shell is very tough. It doesn’t deform after being tossed around and really doesn’t show scratches. Best Features:• The mesh and elastic straps keep things neatly in place.• The expandable feature lets you add a lot more stuff (while still fitting in the overhead bin).• The wheels are very well made and roll smoothly over bumps, carpet, escalator ribs and up ramps.• The TSA locks are designed very smartly.• Zippers are STRONG.• The Caribbean Blue looks really cool and totally stands out. You can’t miss it in the luggage carousel.• Well worth spending the extra bucks on something that will last a long time.• I rate this a definite BUY!

Durable! Pretty & love it.
Okay, I’m retired now & do a bit of traveling with girlfriends. Since I travelled a lot during my software career I wanted to get rid of the set of luggage I had when I worked. Had always purchased Samsonite sets so thought I would start there. Decided hard back & glad I did. Selected the Caribbean Blue because one thing you learn when you fly a great deal is the more boring your luggage the greater the likelihood that it will get stolen. Nobody is going to steal this bright blue suitcase & run through the airport with it. It’s too easy to spot. And oh, you can pick your luggage out on the arrival carousel quickly. The blue color is not a loud, brash blue. It’s a fun, I’m on vacation, blue. Originally, I bought only the carryon just to test out the hard surface feature. It’s lightweight & is so easy to maneuver, especially if you have a couple pieces. The only thing I wish was different. They don’t have separate compartments to keep your items organized. There’s only one long zippered compartment on the fold of the suitcase. And there’s a sneaky compartment too. On the inside on the side that has the handle you will see a long zipper. I roll up my jeans & put them between the handles which gives you more room AND it helps to keep your clothes flat. Otherwise the handle bars will crease your clothes. Buy some additional toiletry bags or if you have some from other luggage sets, use them. My older Samsonite luggage had extra bags, etc & I just use them. So, yes I purchased the 24” as well. Heads-up….Amazon sells the luggage straps that you can use with this set. Say, 10 dollars for 2. Literally you can attach the handle of the smaller luggage to the extended handle of the larger bag, put your tote bag on top of the larger bags, wrapping the handles around the extended handle & use one hand to pull all your luggage so you can enjoy a cup of coffee in your other hand. Once you attach it a couple times you can do it pretty quickly, in the middle of the night, in the dark. It’s very smooth, especially in busy airports. It’s just ingenious. So, if you see someone in an airport with Caribbean Blue luggage strapped together like I’m the boss, be sure to stop me & say hello.

Great Product, but read this IMPORTANT ADVICE if shopping for your first hard suitcase
This is a very good quality suitcase. It was the first hard case that I've bought. For the most part, I am satisfied, but I wish I had known a couple more bits of information before I purchased. If you are also buying YOUR FIRST HARD CASE, read these IMPORTANT TIPS. TIP #1: This case closes with a ZIPPER ONLY. It does not have a latch. Zipper-only hard cases are more vulnerable to malfunction because zippers can break or split apart with stress or excessive wear. If the zipper splits on this case, you do will have a latch as a backup method to keep your case closed and you may find your self in a predicament when you need to check your broken-zippered bag at the airport. Therefore, if you buy this case, be sure to also buy luggage straps. Luggage straps are extremely effective to keep your case closed and will help prevent excessive stress or damage to the zipper. When buying luggage straps, write your initials on each strap with a permanent marker. This will not only help identify your bag in a busy airport, but also make the straps less desirable for thieves. TIP #2: I bought the (very large) 28-inch version of this case because I wanted to have plenty of space to pack for long international trips. In hindsight, I wish I had bought a size or two smaller because filling up a case this big with normal items like clothing, shoes, and toiletries will almost always put you over the airline weight limits (and be very heavy to lift). The case is very light, but I can only fill it up about 75% to avoid paying the "excess weight" fees. With the case being 25% empty, I have lots of open space in the bag and my belongings bounce around inside. When I arrive at my destination, I often find my loosely packed belongings out of order and disheveled. For my next suitcase, I will buy something a tad bit smaller so I can fill 90% or 100%. When filled to 90-100%, my belongings would be tightly packed and more secure inside.

Perfect for Travel!
I’ve owned the 24” suitcase for over a year now and have zero complaints! I’ve taken it on 4-5 trips so far, one of which was a cruise where we flew to FL to board the ship. It’s held up great, holds a great amount and still looks great! Well, well worth the money!

Bien bonitas y de gran calidad!
Me gustaron mucho. Se sienten de calidad. Las puedes guardar como matriuscas. Son de rueda sencilla pero se siente de calidad. Es policarbonato. No plástico. Esto es importante para resistencia de los golpes en las maniobras de almacenaje aeropuerto y avión.
