It's a great product, but there is something you should know. The stainless steel pot needs to be completely dry on the bottom and sides before using. I washed mine before putting it in and I guess I didn't dry it completely. The Instant Pot stopped working. Their support told me the bottom got wet and was not covered under warranty. I ended up purchasing a 3rd party thermal fuse to replace mine and it's been working for almost 5 years now. I've been very happy with mine. I bought my girlfriend and daughter one and they love theirs. Because I've been happy with the Instant Pot, I also purchased their Instant Pot Vortex air fryers. I would recommend Instant Pot to anyone. If I could change one thing, I would ask they put an imprint on the outside of the stainless steel pot that reads "Dry outside well before using".

Love it! The pot is perfect size for sautéing and having to setting low and high is ideal for busy cooking in the kitchen as you can watch or not.Air fry is a must have. So nice to have it in one pot The pressure cooker setting I use most often for cooking chicken breast for my dogs, they take about 10-12 min depending on their size nic and juice with no treatment or salt.I also use the pressure cooker tomato sauce I use Serious Eats recipe and comes out perfectThe other night I slow cooked baby ribs for about 4-5 hr Didn’t time it as no worries of over cooking them.I do love to cook also made a pasta dish in the cooker it is marvelous that you can cook so many things in it.Also cook a potato & leek soup last week. Must stop taking about food or I will never stop.Hope I didn’t bore you but it’s a great pot to have. ( my 1st review ever)Good Luck in your cooking endeavors and ENJOY! ,!!

THIS was my first INSTANT POT! I love it even after I accidentally melted the bottom by turning on the wrong burner. Never use ur stove for a counter! It's got a huge hole in the bottom but it still works. It's my main Slow Cooker and boy it cooks fast! I also use the Pressure Cooker too. I finally bought myself a Ninja XL 701 multi cooker. Its 8qts. It has more bells and whistles but its slow cooker is a huge DUD! It doesn't even work. So I still use my little 6qt Instant Pot with the big melted hole in the bottom. It has a Slow Cooker like no other! Of course Ive only used it on HIGH. I don't know how it slow cooks on low. It was well worth the little money I paid for it.

This is our 3rd instapot. One fell victim to a moving accident, 2 fell because someone was in a hurry for chili and forgot to out the liner in. So third times a charm right? So far YES. This one is a little easier to use, has a few more presets and for 2 of us is the perfect size. So far it's made 3 batches of chili, one beef and barly stew, a small pork roast (honey BBQ ) that came our fall.apart tender.Seems to take a little longer to build steam, or even heat up, but that has its advantages as nothing has scorched yet.

I love this Insta pot. I had my old one for years and it finally gave out. The only complaint I have about this one is that the cord is very short. Would be nice if they had one that was a few inches longer to be able to put it a little further away from cabinets and such.
