Very nice finish
We have used gallons of this finish on outside wood on our porch and fencing. The nice honey finish held up nicely for at least one rainy winter.Looks great on both cedar and fir. We get a lot of finish out of each can even though we apply fairly heavily.Was about $20 cheaper online than in paint store.

Best I can find for preserving our 18 foot chainsaw art carving
In 2016 we decided to have a local chain saw artist create a dragon from the lower part of a very large redwood tree that unfortunately became a danger tree after a storm. He created a real masterpiece (see picture) and we want it to last as long as possible. PPG ProLuxe SRD Wood Finish is what we zeroed in on, and we've applied it on a yearly basis. It is designed for log cabins etc. but is perfect for our needs as well. Highly recommended product for any wood preservation in outdoor environments!

Very Good Quality, But Not Something Slightly Amiss
Background: I didn't buy enough deck sealer originally, so this was bought to finish the job.The first (2) gallons of what I bought (Natural) seemed more stain than what I was intending. However, I liked the results, probably better than if it was Natural. This 3rd gallon was much of what I wanted initially, but it was inconsistent with the original 2 gallons tone. So, this time I got what I wanted, but THIS time it's not what I wanted/expected. Know what I mean?I believe that there is an inconsistency in the formula. I base this solely on observation of the results described above. It covers well, and I hope it's as durable as it advertises. I am disappointed in the inconsistency of shade/stain.

Really love how this turned out!
Great color! Penetrates well. I did use quite a bit due to how badly my deck needed to be stained. Better than the paint on stuff.

Used it on my red oak stair n landing outside easily applied looks awesome will see how it lasts so far it sheds water totally, does turn a little color after applying it even though it’s clear but beautiful

Quality Product
I have used this as a base coat sealer for the teak trim on all my boats for the last 30 plus years. I apply 6 coats of varnish and the results are beautiful and last for years.
