The media could not be loaded. At the end of the day, this was a lot of fun to put together. The online “pdf” instructions were only helpful to a point.. they are a series of photos, and the first set of instructions I used skipped a section towards the end.What I wish I knew: you will need a dremel or some similar tool to sand down certain corners on the existing pieces, otherwise they will not fully connect.Helpful tip: it wasn’t made clear in the instructions, but when you plug everything into the motherboard, the numbers on the instructions directly correspond to the packet number. So as you use each packet, make sure to keep them easily identifiable!My advice: this is a worthwhile addition. The first time I played through the cycles I lost it. So cool.

I bought this set and installed it. After a lot of head scratching, I realized that it was missing the rc board for the remote control and also that one of the connector wires was defective. They did not immediately install this after buying it and so by the time I put it in, I realized that it was defective. I tried to contact the seller and have not heard anything. I would strongly advise against buying from this company and look elsewhere.

I have used several brands of Lego lights and these were by far the best quality and best design. Instructions were much easier than others, and while I had an issue with one part being defective, they provided me troubleshooting within MINUTES of my sending a message. Great customer service and now everything works perfectly.Will be buying all my light kits from them from now on!

Very tedious install process. The directions aren’t super clear and there’s too much excess wiring. It would be better to the wires were custom lengths based on where the lights are being used. But man it really does look great when it’s all installed and working. Adds a whole new level of immersion to any Lego set.

I am not an amateur model or Lego builder by any means, so take that into account when you read this review. I will start out with the good: the kit is well made, the lights are bright and even though the wires are tiny, they are reasonably robust. The bad: it's pretty frustrating how easy many of the blocks that go over the wires fall off once they are placed. Most of the wires could stand to be longer by a couple of centimeters (after all you do have plenty of places to "wrap" them under the chassis to take up the excess). It was annoying how bricks had to be kept getting put back on in the process of trying to get the lights and wires where they belong. Probably most frustrating is the fact that the wiring instructions in the book and what's online are inconsistent and incorrect. It took some experimenting to get everything to work right, but when it finally was finished, very cool!I had two kits and both were missing the sound module. I contacted the company directly and NEVER heard anything back. I decided to reach out to Amazon before the return window ended and Amazon overnighted me a replacement kit. I was happy that I didn't have to return the original kit because I had 5 hours of built time into getting them integrated into the Lego kit. The replacement kit didn't have the sound module either. Amazon refunded the kit cost and told me just to keep what I had.At first I chalked this up to Kyglaring mislabeling the boxes. Both the original and replacement are correctly marked as the rc-sound version. I thought maybe the company accidentally labelled them as that when they were really just the rc version. Upon thinking more about it, no, that's not the problem because both kits did have the speaker -- they were missing the sound module card and the black wire that connects it to the other circuits. Poor quality control -- others mentioned missing parts too, so buyer beware. I am going to try to reach out one more time to Kyglaring to get the missing parts. Don't know that I would recommend this company to anyone.

The media could not be loaded. This light set is probably the coolest one I have so far. It was fairly easy to install, and the finished product is amazing! The sound is also really good, and the remote has different effects to choose. My video doesn’t do it complete justice, but I wanted just do a quick show. I highly recommend this set!

The light kit itself is very well thought out. The instructions are fairly straight forward. The installation process definitely takes some time but that is to be expected. My reason for 2 stars rather than 5 is because of the issue with missing parts. After installing the first kit I realized at the end the sound board and cable were missing. I ended up returning and replacing the kit and ended up with the same issue. This time they included an extra board but not the correct sound board. There was two od the main boards in the packaging. Doe the amount of time it takes to install it is heartbreaking to ot be able to finish. I'm happy with the lights but I cannot recommend the extra money for the sound.

The media could not be loaded. My father showed me this kit for my recently built ECTO-1 and I knew I needed to have it... The instructions can sometimes be difficult to understand but I got through it! I enjoy ALL of the lighting features and the siren works like a charm! Will definitely come back to this company for other set upgrades!!
