Q: How thin can this cut? Can it do leather laces?

Yes it will do that. I've had mine over a year and have used it to cut strip as thin a shoe laces. I did buy an extra pack of blades too

The rapor blade slides into a retaining slot.

Q: When this i received this it did not come with blade. it states one blade included. how can i get my blade?

I thought mine was missing a blade as well at first. I was expecting a separate packet within the packaging containing a blade. Turns out, it comes pre-installed, with rubber protecting sleeves around it.
