I found Bentley Absolute and I haven't found a better fragrance yet. Gucci Pour Homme was better but they no longer produce it. Oud to Glory, and Midnight Oud are pretty dang good and last longer than Bentley Absolute, but Bentley Absolute smells better. Encre Noire smells as good as Bentley Absolute but is too hot for summer, and lasts about as long as a shape in the clouds. Viking Revolution 'Sandlewood' also smells as good as Bentley Absolute, but it lasts as long as a shooting star. Michel Almairac's other fragrances 'Bentley Momentum Unlimited' and 'Jaguar Innovation' are pleasant smelling enough, but they have that 'fake scent' smell I'm not into. 'Davidoff Adventure' is in the realm of Bentley Absolute as well, but it also has that 'fake scent' smell to it.

A heady, enticing and unique mix of wood, spice, incense, and oud wood. Amazingly, unlike most fragrances whose opening notes disappear after the drydown, Absolute's stick around continuously even as the baby powder aroma sets in to complete the full package.

A unique smell. Very warm and and extremely masculine. It has a heavy wood smell in the beginning, but as it dries down it becomes warm and sweet. A great winter colonge that is unique.

As a guy in their mid-30's who is just starting to get serious about collecting fragrances, I was looking for my first non-blue fragrance. Something a bit warmer and more mature to wear for nighttime use, for cooler weather, while also being versatile for casual and formal occasions. The Bentley for Men line came up a lot in fragrance reviews as being an awesome bang-for-the-buck line while also having many of my aforementioned qualities. This product, Absolute, was the favorite for many of these reviewers, so I pulled the trigger. I'm writing this review after about 4 hours of applying some on my inner wrists. I was worried about it being a little too woody at first, but it actually gave me a very pleasant sweet scent in the opening, almost like bubblegum. A few hours in, it has settled into a very nice and subtle wood scent, with some pepper and powder mixed in. I can see myself wearing this quite often after dark and for formal occasions, and for work during the cooler seasons. I can say that I'm glad I chose this as my first woody fragrance, and it's definitely going to see a lot of use.

Smells like lead..

I had no idea that Home Depot had it's own scent. I mean, the bottle is one of the coolest on the market... but the scent inside is... not for everyone. The fragrance actually has good performance and pretty good projection. But IT LITERALLY SMELL LIKE A LUMBERYARD. Now, it smells like the inside of Home Depot in the BEST way possible... full on sweet cedar note that comes across like freshly cut wood. But it still smells like Home Depot.

Super warm and woody notes. I love this cologne.
