Love the quality of the product. Carbon fiber is legit and made my C8 look even better. It is priced a fraction of the OEM part for the C8 engine appearance package. If you own a C8 Corvette and didn’t get the engine appearance package, BUY IT!! Thanks for a great product.

As nearly every reviewer has said, these solid carbon fiber C8 Engine Close Out Panels are expertly crafted, beautifully finished and fit perfectly. They are clones of the OEM engine appearance option less the heat tape backing. I tried to order this $995 RPO code ZZ3 Engine Appearance Package on my 23 Stingray, but it was under constraint at the time. This package also included RPO code D3V Engine Lighting. I was able to order the recently unconstrained $495 RPO code RCC Engine Cover in Edge Red. I believe for a time the engine lighting was included with painted engine covers because my C8 built on 6/13/23 has engine compartment lights. So, now I have what looks like the complete with lighting, OEM Engine Appearance Package, and I saved nearly $400 to boot. Lucky me!

Great product! Only 4 of 5 stars due to the need for customer modifications for mounting. Full carbon-fiber with an excellent gel-coat finish. Really adds a nice custom look to the C8 Corvette Stingray engine bay. - Had to make the holes a little larger, as the factory bolts would not go through. Easily done with a slow drill and a round grin-stone from underneath. (photo attached) - No heat backing, but for this price? Still a great deal. I spent $18 for self-adhesive 2000 degree heat backing tape, and cut it to size myself. * NOTE: You will need a T-40 Tork bit to remove & re-install the factory hardware. Happy motoring, with smiles for miles!

For the price the panels look OK, my complaint is that they tend to make a pronounced thud going over small bumps in the road. Also, I have had these installed for about the last 8 months and I still have a strong fiberglass smell in the cabin. I have experimented by taking them off and no more thud or smell.

Excellent quality and less expensive than OEM

These are beautiful. As others have said..the hole closest to the back of the car needs to be enlarged slightly to fit the bolt but a dremmel tool will do that in 30 seconds. Fit is perfect on the car and wow do they look nice! Packaged extremely well. Extremely happy customer..if you have a C8 coupe…get them!

Fantastic value. My only minor issue was the holes were undersized. It was an easy correction with a small round file. I give the item a high recommendation.
