Great protection against the sun while having fun
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Ordering another one for work. Bought it large because I do not like to wear something tight while walking, driving, or doing some tasks outside. Very light material. I recommend worth buying.

Ultralight backpacker must have
Love this thing, adds an amazing amount of warmth, super breathable, ultralight and packs down small, fabric is reasonably durable, great color (mine is green, which is a darker olive green vs. the picture). Felt a bit loose and baggy when I first put it on, but on trail it feels great for range of motion and doesn't bunch up or flap in the wind. Okay in a light rain, but definitely a windbreaker and not a rain jacket. I've put about 100 miles of hiking and running on it so far and it's holding up great, waiting to see how long the zipper lasts. Being gentle with it but, for this price, I can buy 4 or 5 of these for the price of one Houdini jacket. The velcro on the hood enclosure is a little annoying but its nice being able to pack the hood away. Looks pretty good too.

Fantastic budget alternative to Patagonia Houdini if you don't need water resistance!
First off for $18, any complaints about this are not justified. This is a great bargain, and a very adequate budget replacement for your Patagonia Houdini. Packs down very well and fits very similar to the Houdini. It is not as windproof as the Houdini, based on my non-scientific “blow through the fabric” test, comparing the Dooy with the Houdini. But that also means it breaths a little better. So, that may be a plus or a minus, depending on what you are looking for.If it’s such a great bargain, why not give it 5 stars? There are a few changes they could make that I expect would either not change the manufacturing cost or keep it equal, and it would be a better jacket:1. They have Velcro tabs to fold up the hood into the collar. This is not in any way a water proof (barely water resistant) jacket, so keeping the hood tucked away and dry in the rain is not important, since you won’t be using this in the rain. I’ve never wished I could tuck away my hood on my Houdini, as the fabric is so light, you don’t notice it bouncing around when you run. On the Dooy, when you tuck in the hood, it just makes the collar kind of bulky. And the Velcro tabs are bigger than the need to be and kind of scratchy. Just get rid of them and the extra collar fabric to fold it away!2. The jacket comes with a little stuff sac to put the jacket in. No need for this. It can self-stuff in the chest pocket like the Houdini can.3. Speaking of number 2, they should have just made the chest pocket zipper a dual-sided zipper like on the Houdini. So if they eliminated the collar pouch and Velcro, eliminated the stuff sac, and made the chest pocket zipper double sided, I’d give this 5 stars. And maybe offer one bright color (i.e. red). The translucent gray and white are very similar, and the green is pretty dark.

It's like plastic paper.
It was too thin. Like plastic paper. I returned it, but it could be used as disposable. Sizing is for small Asian people, not super-sized people.

동서양 직업 차이
I don't have the first order form, and the second size doesn't fit my oriental hemorrhoids, so I think it'll be a little big

AMAZING!!! best hood in the world. best value windshirt in the world!
First, this is NOT for rain!!! It is an uncoated wind/sun shirt. It has an amazing hood!!! One can wear it and NOT AT ALL feel encumbered by loss of vision or of sound. The uncoated nylon is "quiet" and super highly breathable. Also, the hood is so perfectly sculpted, one can easily wear it under a bicycle or climbing helmet with no adjustments needed. It packs down so teeny tiny, you can always carry it on any bike ride or hike. Coupled with an umbrella, it is perfect for wind and rain. If they wanted to optimize this for SUN, I would recommend they sew 3cm strip of mesh under the arms from the wrists up to the armpits, then down the sides. For hiking/windshirt, maybe a "handsize" patch of mesh at the armpits would make this perfect-even with the additional money the mesh sewing labor would add to the cost! Coupled with my Merino pullover hoodie, and umbrella, one has an amazing cool weather hiking outfit ready for all conditions.
