Very impressive piece of kit
Bought one of these to take on holiday as the wi fi in our regular hotel is poor. The device was easy to set up and works a treat. Please note that these devices only work in wi fi hot spots, so if your not in a hot spot then it won’t pick up a signal and you will get a constant flashing red light

Junk!
It initially connected to the Three network OK but after about 30 minutes the speed fell from 50mps to 3mps maximum and I couldn't get any improvement even after several full resets. Then I started get an error message saying my new HP ZBook is unable to connect to the Wi-Fi network (my old copper wifi connects fine) so that decided the fate of the unit. Wi-Fi coverage was average, placing it in the hall at the centre of a 4 bed 1930's house gave a pretty reasonable signal everywhere but because it's a 5g router it needed to be at the back of the house to get a fast network connection which left the front rooms without a useable signal. This unit doesn't have mesh technology so you can't add a wireless extender.First thing to note is you need to connect via a cat5 cable to configure it, most laptops don't have this but fortunately my USB C monitor does, you can't use an app to set it up. The admin console is pretty much the same as my 10 year old D-Link ADSL modem/router and takes 30 seconds to process any changes but the firmware seems stuck on V 1.0 and won't upgrade, on such an old model of router seems strange that it's on V1 from the factory. Full system reset both using the console and also the reset button hasn't helped to resolve any of the issues. Also worth noting the sim slot is for a full size, they do provide a carrier for a micro sim but it's pretty rubbish and I'm now struggling to get my sim card out of the device, another annoyance is the power cable is ridiculously short. Although it's 5g it feels really dated, the user interface is clunky and the lack of an app really doesn't help it.

Brilliant for remote areas with no fast fibre
We live in a very remote area with no fast fibre. On the old home broadband the download speed at best was 1.5 and it is now around 8 so am really impressed! Also a lot cheaper. Very pleased with it!

This hub has an easy to use set-up wizard
This hub has an easy to use set-up wizard and allows advanced settings for the technically minded to play with IPv4 and IPv6 wi-fi and it accepts various sized Sim Cards in the same slot (micro size sits on a tray). It has both an 3G/LTE mobile network ariel and a wi-fi ariel, either or both maybe replaced with an external ariel in poor reception areas. It doesn't appear to have as sensitive a receiver part as my old D-link hub had (no internet available at around -67dBm) using my 6M high externally mounted ariel, so only gets four stars, because I needed change mobile provider to get a more usable signal.

Good for UK, but useless abroad.
If you want a WiFi hot-spot for the UK then this works well for little money. However, when most providers are giving huge amounts of data, I don't see why you wouldn't just run a hot spot off your phone.I bought this to use in France, because data roaming is a casualty of Brexit, and although many operators say roam like at home, they impose limits, which usually mean 5-6GB is all you get. Therefore we needed a hot-spot for our WiFi free holiday home (teenagers). This powered up and connected to a French network, received texts but would not provide any data. Tried with 2 different SIMs, both of which worked in phones. The issue seems to be that to provide data roaming, French networks want a full 4g connection, and this can only manage LTE.Therefore its being returned but its a decent product to use at home.

Glad I bought it
Excellent worked straight out the box and able to pick up the weak signal that my previous router could not.

Better than my old broadband providers
Edit: I got it during black Friday sale at £350, otherwise I'd deem it too expensive. So far it has been a good investment; instead of paying 70 euro a month for broadband I'm now using a prepay 5g unlimited data sim at €15 a month. The speed is about 400-600Mb/s, can stream and play online games off of it no problem (obviously depends on your location).Battery will not last a full day, about 7-8 hours.3 months update, after using it for almost 3 months, topped up my prepaid sim for 15euros/month for unlimited 5G data, so it costed me a total of 45euros so far on top ups, usage of over 900gb, average speed between 200-600mbps, 6 devices are connected to this thing, also able to play LoL/valorant etc at less than 30ping jitter 1ms, defo the best investment made so farMany months later update, brought this around europe, south korea, china and hong kong, used their local sim with no issues, happy days
