High Quality Thermos
Keeps water cold and coffee hot like intended. The color was described as "midnight blue" but looks solid black to me in almost all lighting. The pour spout works great. My last thermos lasted 14 years before it was slung off my truck at 40 mph (that one still holds liquid but I think the vacuum seal is broken). I'm sure this one will last just as long.

Excellent bottle
Excellent at keeping liquids hot or cold for long periods of time, I use for yerba mate and tea and it keeps my water hot for multiple days if I don't use it all up before then, longest so far I've tested is 3 days but I'm sure it can go longer. The stopper is also very nice and good quality with no leaking whatsoever, and the functionality of the pouring mechanism is 1,000 times better than the Stanley ones which is also a huge upside to THERMOS in comparison also with the more affordable price point.I have both a Stanley and THERMOS products and I find myself using the THERMOS much more often. Not knocking Stanley though they're still very good vacuum bottles as well. The handle isn't quite as stiff as the Stanley equivalent but still functions the same and isn't an issue at all.Very excellent and highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic
I should’ve gotten this a long time ago. It would’ve saved me a lot of money. My coffee stays hot after almost 8 sometimes nine hours. I take it to work with me every day. I take it to church. I have my coffee with me all the time. It’s a great great product, but it’s also been around a very long time.

very cool
Dad said he wanted a real thermos like when he was a kid. something to take to the lake or on road trips. not sure where the idea came from but he said he wanted it so I got it for him. This thing is really big and easy to carry with the handle. Holds alot, hot or cold. love the spout feature. Less chance of spilling. The read color just makes it look really nice.

Convenient and reliable mug to prep baby formula.
I really like this mug—it’s been super handy for preparing formula for my baby. It keeps water hot for hours, and the handle is comfortable to hold. I’m giving it 4 stars because opening and closing the lid takes a bit more time than I’d like. Overall, it works well and does what I need.

40 oz Thermos
I needed a thermos for work because I don't like paying $5 for a cup of mediocre coffee. I had been using a no-name brand, but by the time I'd get to work, my coffee was almost cold. I was going to get a Stanley since they were all the rage last year, but then I came across this Thermos. To start, it's like 20 - 25% cheaper than a Stanley. It has a handle, making it less likely I'll drop it, and I like the stainless steel look. Plus, the cup on top is great to have. So, let's get right down to it.... does it keep my coffee hot? Well, hot seems a bit extreme. Very warm is more like it. You won't burn yourself, that's for sure, but you won't need a microwave as long as you drink it fast. It gets 5 stars because it's that much better than what I had been using. It's functional, easy to clean, durable, and it doesn't leak. If I were ordering again, I might even get a bigger size because when all is said and done, this 40 oz holds like 3 big mugs.

Water still very hot after nearly 2 days
I bought this to keep water hot enough to brew tea a few hours after boiling, and boy howdy did it deliver. My husband wanted to hold afternoon tea for his mom for mother's day, with takeout from a local tea house, which includes loose leaf tea to brew at home. We wanted to bring everything to a park, so we packed up cute tea cups, and filled this thermos with boiling water to brew fresh tea when we arrived.I tested it's ability to retain heat before we used it for real, so I filled it halfway (one electric kettle full) with boiling water, closed it all the way, and forgot about it. Almost 2 days later, it's still hot enough to be uncomfy to leave your finger in, and certainly hot enough to brew tea.I found it easy to open and close, and I like the pour spouts on either side of the stopper that you can use when you unscrew it a bit, but really love that when it's fully tightened (with just normal grip strength, nothing crazy), it doesn't leak at all. That being said, this is definitely not a commuter drink it in the car travel mug, it's more of a campfire-side stationary use thermos, but it's still decently portable. Since it doesn't leak, you could easily use a carabiner to clip it to a backpack, or put it inside a larger backpack. I don't love the handle for constant holding, though- it's like those strange flat-collapsing handles you'd find on an old school metal lunchbox- so I wouldn't carry it around that way.As another reviewer mentioned, the care guide is inside the bottle, so make sure you remove that before you wash or use it. In these instructions, it does say it's top rack dishwasher safe (I'd love to know how on earth they think we're fitting a 40oz tumbler in the top rack of a dishwasher though), but recommends hand washing because dishwasher detergent is harsher and could hurt the finish. I'm a death-before-hand-wash girlie tho, so here's hoping it holds up in the bottom row of the dishwasher. It looks quite nice right now, but I'm not super pressed about it if that goes to crap from dishwasher use.I'm hopeful this will last us a very long time, but I'll update if/when it becomes unable to properly do it's job.
